Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
Netflix has branded "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" a Netflix Original. Heck, it was on Crackle and online for a few years. I know this falls in the "Oh Well" category, just an odd promotional practice in my opinion.Comment

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
February 2- I expected it to look a little more noirish, but we'll see how it plays out.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
Are there episodes missing?
edit: Just read up on it. I see Netflix is pushing them into collections, changed the order and removed product placement spots.Last edited by CMH; 01-13-2018, 04:24 PM."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. It’s the same thing they did with their Food Network shows like Cutthroat Kitchen and stuff - not whole seasons, but collections of random episodes.Comment

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
Thanks for researching this. I watched all of the ones that Crackle produced. I liked the mini-skits with Michael Richards as the Crackle President. In fact, wasn't Michael Richards the first guest?Comment

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
The very first guest was Larry David. Which made sense when it first aired and I remember them talking about the show and stuff."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
We started watching Peaky Blinders. Great cast. Story is interesting so far, but I've never been a huge fan of the super-hero chess player protagonist that can anticipate everyone's motivation, strategy, and move.

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
The next season of a series of unfortunate events comes out in March.
It's only Netflix original series I've watched, but takes some getting used to. Last season happened January 2017. I like binge watching, but hate the wait between seasons.Comment

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
I enjoyed the 2004 movie. I thought Jim Carey was a little over the top (granted I never read the books to know if that's how he was supposed to be), but I thought Emily Browning was great as Violet. Is the Netflix series comparable?Comment

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
To me, the Netflix series is way better. It's much more detailed version than the movies. It takes 2 episodes to cover each book. The movie covered just 3 books I believe. Think there's 13 or so books total, so last season had 4 books, this one has 5 books, then final season in 2019 will do the final 4 books.Comment

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
I survived 1922. I kinda have a problem with the animal that is prevalent to the story. The mass amounts of them nearly gave me a heart attack. But I was a trooper and powered through to the end.Last edited by Hammerhunker; 01-18-2018, 08:58 AM.Comment

Neil Patrick Harris playing the roles that he has to in this show makes it even better.Comment

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
Just finished Open House.
Basically, W.T.F.???
Spoiler
I hated - I mean hated - the ending.
Absolutely no point to this movie.
Probably written by a former real estate agent who thought "what if?" and made. 90 minute movie on the premise.
What a waste of an evening.
