Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
After I read this yesterday I decided to check it out. I started episode one at noon time and before I knew it my wife was coming through the front door home from work at 5:00 and episode 5 was just ending. I'm hooked big time. Great show.Comment

The wife and I discovered Dark a couple of days ago.
We love it.
It's a cross between The Killing and Stranger Things.

They're pumping out so many shows right now, I worry about the quality of many of them.Comment

A few months ago the CEO said that they need to take more big risks, so that can produce more breakout hits, but along with that they're going to have a lot more stuff that simply crashes and burns too.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

And it's not like it's one person making the content.
But yes, more content means more content you'll love and more content you'll hate. Just numbers. Netflix wants that.

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
Same with Amazon, so many new shows.
Hulu, too. Which is weird, because I don't watch Hulu So when I see a show that's interesting it happens to be an ad for season 2 of that show lol.

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
Do folks here like Longmire? We've been watching it since it was on A&E before Netflixed rescued it in its fourth season. The sixth and final season just went up.
It's mostly a police procedural drama, set in Wyoming. But the writing and acting are really great, and the characters are all really fun. Plus, it's where Katie Sackoff ended up after BSG, and she is worth the price of admission alone. She plays a fish out of water as an ex-Philadelphia cop in Wyoming.Comment
