Netflix has another show called "Mind Hunter" which came out about a year ago, about the start of the FBI's techniques on analyzing Serial Killers. Cameron Britton (Hazel) played one of the serial killers and he was so EXCELLENT. He has this soft tone to him which makes his big frame standout even more.

I started looking into the comics after my wife and I finished the series. I got one of my co-workers to watch the show, and he finished it before i did, he was hooked. It's very well done.
There was not one character that was overdone, underdone, etc. I made the comment about "We need more Hazel and Cha Cha" but it could be said for each character, even Dad.

Yes, Britton was excellent in Mind Hunter, Edward Kemper. As Hazel, he's a brutal assassin but you can't help but have an affectionate like for the character.

Daniel Radcliffe said he believes there will be some kind of Harry Potter reboot one day. Not based on any inside info or interest to return, just a thought.

If not for the movies, a series on the books would've been huge. Bigger than Game of Thrones imo. 8 seasons of the show, each covers 1 book. You get more time than a movie to cover all stories.

I'm most interested in a Netflix series about the pre Harry Potter stories. Fantastic Beasts seems to be covering the pre-(he who must not be named) days.

The Tom Riddle into Voldemort years would be great. We get to have James,Lilly,Snape,Sirius,Lupin all of them. First wizard war, rise of the death eaters, creation of horcruxes, getting to see what led to Riddle going down his dark path. So much stories to tell. Hopefully if/when a new series happens they choose that route.

Finally finished The Punisher last night. I feel like the finale went off the rails a bit which was disappointing, but it was redeemed a little bit in the ending at least.

Narcos and Narcos Mexico were pretty good. There is so much stuff on Netflix I could probably never catch up on all the stuff I didn't watch the past 10 years.

To piggy back off the Harry Potter stuff, I recently watched Fantastic Beast 2 and realized, Grindelwalt is giving time to be developed. Voldermort clearly wasn't, he's a terrible villain, I understand sometimes it's good to keep the central villain under a mystique vail, but there's nothing interesting about him beyond the point that he couldn't kill harry. I would like to see him explored more so we have a real reason to fear him.

At times he did seem more like a figurehead. Most intimidating thing about him was his large and powerful following, many in high places.

His backstory really wasn't explained in the movies as much. Dumbledore finding him and inviting him to Hogwarts, and Riddle finding out about Horcruxes are the main things they showed.

Another reason I want to see more about the first wizarding war. See what led to him becoming evil. We really get to see the rise of Voldemort. Him at his peak. And seeing people becoming followers for the first time rather than just picking up where they left off once he returned.

I'm in the middle of the first episode and I had the wrong idea of what type of show this would be. Not sure if it's a farce or a parody, but I'm actually really liking it so far

I think I'll have to give the Umbrella Academy another look. I started dozing off during the first episode and never went back to it. There seems to be a lot of enthusiasm for it, though.

Does anyone have any thoughts on Polar? I didn't have any expectations going in, but it ended up being a fun ride. I loved the way that colors were used and the overall look of the film general. It set itself up nicely for a sequel at the end, so I hope they drop another one down the line. I definitely recommend this one.
