Finished up Kaleidoscope on Netflix. An interesting concept with how each viewer receives the order of episodes. Overall the story was good enough and the experience was good enough as well.

BTW, our episode order was Green, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Red, Pink, White.

I was not aware each viewer got a different experience. Well I only watched because Esposito was in it and thought it was OK not great.

Ok aligns with my "good enough". The viewer can force watch in chronological order, which I think would be better after experiencing it the order we got; felt choppy and confusing at times. The chronological order is: Purple (violet), Green, Yellow, Orange, Blue, White, Red, Pink

So did I, but I'm wondering if I did mostly because I played the games and know the story. As I was watching it I kept wondering if I (not others) was going into it blind, would it have grabbed me after the prologue? And I'm not so sure it would have on the same level.

I don't know if the ending of the episode was also supposed to let on as much as I know that it did, because I could see others be confused or asking questions and have to wait till next week (that, or maybe it let on enough for everyone to connect the dots on their own).

The environemnt is fan-freakin'-tastic, and having avoided any previews I can't wait to see what their encounters will look like.

EDIT: I also wasn't able to get this to play in 5.1 on HBO MAX on my PS4. It played in 2.1. I'm now watching it again on HBO itself and it's properly playing in 5.1. I hope the app can address this, at least with my specific setup.

SECOND EDIT: Just changed my PS4 audio output from Linear PCM to Bitstream (Dolby), and that did the trick. All good now!

Valhalla season 2 is out. The Last of Us was good. My wife is not a gamer and was able to follow it just fine. To her it looked like The Walking Dead.

Hell yeah, Last of Us was awesome. I didn't play the game other than the first hour or two and never went with it. I know its something I been meaning to play but i'll watch the show for now. Pedro Pascal is one of my favorite actors, almost everything he touches is gold.

Probably gonna be the best video game adaptation of all time.

Valhalla season 2 is out. The Last of Us was good. My wife is not a gamer and was able to follow it just fine. To her it looked like The Walking Dead.

Caught the first two episodes of Valhalla last night. I am a sucker for these Viking shows but nothing comes close to Vikings sadly.

A new season and probably the last of Fauda drops Friday. One of my favorites.

That 90s Show premieres on Thursday

Not sure if the entire series is 8 episodes or just this first season.

I feel like it might wind up being like a Girl Meets World where people expected it to be Boy Meets World but as adults, but most of the show focused on their kids (though the moments/episodes which did focus on the adults were good).

I don't think the second season of Vikings Valhalla was up to the quality of the first season.
