Just finished Wednesday. The negatives are absolutely present, but the mainstay positive is of course Ortega. Back to what I said about when she conveys emotion, it brings it out in me as well. She did really well in the role.
I very much expect it to continue and will continue watching, but it ain't the best content on TV either.
EDIT:
Didn't realize this was the thread for everything besides Netflix as well, so I'll just say I've been watching Showtime's Let The Right One In. I didn't know what I'd think about the casting choices to begin with, but by the third episode I was on board with most of said choices. This show is best when it slows down and lets the characters be happy and engage in conversation or endure their personal relationships, and I know it has a vampire background but those humanizing elements keeps everything on an even keel.
I don't think it's a spoiler for me to say that there are two main story arcs that forever have been unrelated, and I was getting annoyed at whenever one would be broken up for the other after a segment. Seeing them develop has let me forgive them a little bit, but I much prefer the story about Eleanor and Mark.
