The Elliott Gould and Robert Altman movie "The Long Goodbye" is back on Amazon Prime this month. Based on the Raymond Chandler detective novel. One of my favorites, great feel, really like Elliot Gould in it.

Finished Peaky Blinders….can’t wait for the movie to tie up some loose ends.

Fantastic show (except the blech season 3)

I figured you were talking about another franchise lol, but since you quoted somebody only talking about The Gray Man, I wasn't certain if you just misplaced the other star's name.

I’m in the middle of season 2. It hasn’t totally caught me yet but will keep going.

You reminded me of wanting to read a Raymond Chandler novel, so I ordered the first novel Phillip Marlowe was introduced, The Big Sleep. I have always been enamored with the Noir genre, so why not read the man that invented the Noir genre.

Season 3, episode 5 had me chuckling and chuckling but in a guilty kind of way.

I have a couple, only in paperback though. I miss having TCM, they had a whole block of older Noir movies.

The Long Goodbye movie is set in the 70's, some might not like it isn't a direct adaptation but it holds its own imho.

I've been looking forward to this ever since it was first announced. Coming this fall.

After watching Scream (2022), I'll watch Jenna Ortega in anything. I couldn't care less that I didn't watch The Addams Family growing up or that I'm generally not a fan of Tim Burton's artistry (though I respect it).
