Re: What's good to watch on Netflix And Other Streaming Platforms

Just finished Wednesday. The negatives are absolutely present, but the mainstay positive is of course Ortega. Back to what I said about when she conveys emotion, it brings it out in me as well. She did really well in the role.

I very much expect it to continue and will continue watching, but it ain't the best content on TV either.

    EDIT:

Didn't realize this was the thread for everything besides Netflix as well, so I'll just say I've been watching Showtime's Let The Right One In. I didn't know what I'd think about the casting choices to begin with, but by the third episode I was on board with most of said choices. This show is best when it slows down and lets the characters be happy and engage in conversation or endure their personal relationships, and I know it has a vampire background but those humanizing elements keeps everything on an even keel.

I don't think it's a spoiler for me to say that there are two main story arcs that forever have been unrelated, and I was getting annoyed at whenever one would be broken up for the other after a segment. Seeing them develop has let me forgive them a little bit, but I much prefer the story about Eleanor and Mark.

Saw one episode of this and definitely got too many weird vibes from it and bailed.

A lot of the Batman Animated movies are really good. Solid recommendation for Year One if you haven't seen it already.

                    Ancient Apocalypse

Not as wild as Ancient Aliens but Graham makes some good points here, he's much more grounded and I somewhat agree with some of his thories.

Probably not much new to people who watch Pyramid and ancient sites content.

Sweet. Really enjoyed Season 1 and we were left hanging.

Glad we will hopefully get closure.

Big thank you for the birddog on this show clear back in September. The wife and I were excited about this trailer then and what came of the series did not disappoint. Clever and entertaining.

I made the comment clear back to when Cobra Kai first came out, how interesting this sub-genre could be potentially, taking an old show's or movie's, supporting character and make them the main character in a modern story.

Really enjoying The Last Kingdom. Almost done with Season 2.

Season 1 was good but you can see the show and it’s characters hitting their stride in Season 2. I hope it continues to ascend like this.
