Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
Yeah that bothered me too!
The biggest thing that has bothered me on this show is the Mexican cartel leader being killed by the Snell's and nothing was really done about it.
They said oh he went back to Chicago as far as we know?? Really?
Pretty sure that wouldn't fly and hell would have been unleashed.
After the Cartels lawyer found out the truth.....they negotiated a deal with the Snells and Marty. They needed both of them to eventually get their massive laundry mat with the casino.
One hand is washing the other and many more lieutenants are standing by to take that guy's place. Now Playing on PS5:

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
Apparently I picked a good week to read Shirley Jackson's The Haunting of Hill House as there is a series coming on Friday.

I binged season 1 awhile back. I'll most likely do the same for season 2. It's compelling. And it also reminds of me of Dallas Keuchel...STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
Was anyone else surprised season 2 was about the same guy? I was expecting a whole different case when I saw there would be a new season
edit: in regards to Making a Murderer
bonus edit: having a part 2 reminds me of the old Damien Echolls documentary about the West Memphis 3, Paradise Lost I think it was called, except part one wasn't about exonerating anyone, and part two was about "whoops, we may have been off the mark with part 1"
actually, maybe I should watch Making a Murderer part 2 before I make any comparisonsLast edited by l3ulvl; 10-11-2018, 01:02 AM.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
Season 2 of Glow off to a slow start after a couple episodes. I'm trusting it will pick up.
Speaking of Iron Fist, haven't got around to season 2 because I've been getting my fix through Agents of Shield. It's not too bad actually. Sprinkle in the movies and you can put together the whole timeline now.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
It's on my shortlist, for sure. Wife wants nothing to do with it. Horror is just not her bag.
She is a knitter, and watches several knitting podcasts, which is just a good way to get the feeling of knitting with friends. Several of the podcasters she watches talk about The Walking Dead, so she started watching that with me. but now she just watches Talking Dead after I watch the episode. She like the story, but hates the dread of a good horror.
A mom and daughter podcast team were raving about American horror story the night, and she was, "Nope, nope, nope!" I man going to see if she will watch the most recent AHS episode, because return to Murder House is just too damn good of an hour of TV to miss out on. I'll just FF through the Black Mass section. She may still divorce me.
I got her to go see 28 Days Later in the theater with me, telling her it was a "thinking man's zombie flick." She walked out saying, "Yeah, it was really well done. you what else it was? It was a ****ing zombie movie!" She got to pick the next 28 movies we saw.Comment

.....UNTIL the S4 finale when John Goodman appeared. It all went downhill from there.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Jayhawk, The Haunting of Hill House though slated as a horror show, It's actually much more than that.
I don't want to get into too much, without spoiling anything. The back story about the family is what IMO makes this show soooooo goodIt's on my shortlist, for sure. Wife wants nothing to do with it. Horror is just not her bag.
