Live action DBZ would be awful. There’s just no way they’d put enough money in it to look as good as the animated version.

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
Some of these superhero TV shows, with the budgets they have, they have good looking special effects.
Main thing is the look of the characters. Flying is done on all superhero shows so that's the easy part. The energy blasts with today's CGIs I'd think wouldn't be hard either. But if the characters don't look so good, that would ruin it.
The dragonball evolution felt more like some low budget cosplay.Comment

Has anyone watched the Resident Evil anime show yet? I've been meaning to check it out, but just haven't gotten around to it due to backlog.Last Movie Watched: Morbius (2022).
Last TV Show Watched: MARVEL's What If?...(S3:E7).

I started "I Think You Should Leave" last night. It's decent. My expectations were too high. It's funny, but I was thinking it would be more
Plus I'm an idiot and thought it starred Tim RobbinsWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Not on Netflix but on Peacock app (no thread so quick post)...
Suits (US version) + Meghan Markle pre-monarchy = would recommend.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning is now on Netflix. It's the fifth and final installment of the Rurouni Kenshin live action film franchise. This is a prequel, but kind of brings things full circle at the same time.
Although it has its imperfections, it also had some perfections at the same time. I guess I'd recommend watching the movies in release order:
Origins
Kyoto Inferno
The Legend Ends
The Final
The Beginning
Though I can see why somebody might be inclined to watch Origins or The Final "again" right after watching The Beginning.
NOTE: Only The Final and The Beginning are currently available on Netflix.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
I never got super far into Kingdom, though I did think it was interesting.
There is a prequel movie/special episode out now called kingdom Ashin of the North.
It's incredibly slow going, but it does pick up steam about half way through. I probably would have enjoyed it more had I watched more episodes.
