Re: The Walking Dead (Season 3)
Very good episode. It was action packed but at the same time told us a lot about the people of Woodbury.
I also thought it was Milton that burned up the Pits, but at the same time, I feel that he doesn't have enough balls to actually go through with it. Or the wits to steal a car, leave Woodbury and set it ablaze.
My guess? Merle. He's sick of just staying in the prison waiting for Rick and Co to attack, so he did the next best thing he could to damage the Gov's army.
My question is.. why didn't Andrea steal the Governor's truck?!?! Dumb blonde.. smhComment

Don't know if that was Merle. Group knows he wants to go kill The Governor. All of a sudden he can sneak out?Comment

They should have at least shown her checking to see if the keys were in there. If they weren't, and she can't hotwire it, sh's got a knife, slash his tires!University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

That is what makes me mad about the outcome of things, and that is how the writers are able to get Andrea captured. They instantly make her character stupid so that they can have her captured to ensure the level of suspense. However, in previous iterations of Andrea's character she is cunning and determined.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 3)
I think it was Milton, a lot suggests he is coming around to the grim reality facing him and the town, but at the same time I do think that's too easy. I don't think it was the "couple," or Merle for that matter, as I think there would have been some look in on him that episode if that was the case. I might pin Ben as the one who set the fire, but maybe that's a stretch. One thing's for sure; the writhing, burned bodies in the pit were pretty crazy looking. This show has some amazing "makeup" work done, which makes the cheesy gore effects and sounds that much more painful (not in a good way) when they show up. Like when the governor was smashing the face with the shovel ... while brutal, the squishing and smashing noises were entirely too exaggerated.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 3)
I would have at least checked the truck for any guns laying around.
And I don't think it would of been safe/sane for her to walk out in the woods in the middle of the night with only a knife. I know she's portrayed as a warrior.. but that was too much.
And did anyone get the story in the beginning when they flashed back to Michonne and Andrea talking about the walkers? I was trying to piece it together with the episode. Were those chained up zombies Michonne had related to her? Her boyfriend? Guys that were trying to rape her?
Her stupid facial expressions don't give much into the story.Comment

The only thing I had a problem with was how the Governor just randomly finds Andrea in the middle of a field. I could understand spotting her on the side of the road, but just happening upon her in the middle of a field is far fetched.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 3)
With Milton, you have to think that
1) he had to steal a truck
2) sneak out of Woodbury with the truck (which is really hard to do with all the barricades)
3) Actually know where the Pits were located. And it seems as if he would be the type that would not know where this was located since he's really the scientist of Woodbury.
I actually think opposite. The ego on the Governor makes me believe he would capture Andrea easily in the building, and thus leaves the key in the car for a quick getaway. It's not like zombies or random strangers are lurking around willing to steal his truck.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 3)
I read an article with one of the producers answering some questions, and he explained this one. There are hundreds, maybe even thousands of abandoned cars on the side of the road with gas sitting in them. So he says gas is not an issue for them.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

I agree, he is a pretty brash guy, he has done reckless things in the past. I.E. standing right out in the open while the prison group was firing back towards him.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Not a big deal or anything, just thought it was funny they've got heavy duty trucks after the outbreak. Also, the Hyundai has one hell of a coat to remain clean the entire time.Aaron
