It takes a bit to “get your legs” but I can now race/flight sim for about 2 hours at a time.

Can't wait for complete VR support for MS FS 2020.

Really enjoying it so far. Went and picked up the TM 16000 hotas. Game changer, having a flight stick.

I want to do the entire frame but I don't know if I should build myself a 8020 aluminum rig similar to a simlab P1-X or buy one. I was trying to spend around $700 for the cockpit, but most around that price don't include the racing seat smh. I'm also noticing most of these nice rigs come from Europe and the shipping alone is close to $200..

VR is definitely something I have in mind, but haven't done any research or even started thinking about purchasing.

For racing games I think I would be happy (or now) with a wheel setup, but damn that price point right now.

I have a question. I want to replace my rear exhaust fan, it just has a single color around the circular part of the fan. I want to get a RGB fan where blades light up. I looked at a Corsair one, but it needed like three things to work. One thing was $70. Are there any fans out there that I can just plug in to replace the one in there now that I can do RGB with?

The pricing made it an easy decision. I was already heavily leaning towards the 3080 for my new build. This presentation basically solidified that unless the horrible happens and I can't get one at release.

You should be able to get a single fan for $20-30 depending on the brand. Cooler Master, for instance. You would still need to plug the fan in to your RGB header on your mobo to change colors unless you do it manually with whatever remote is included. Then the power supply connection and fan header on the mobo.

Yeah I'm copping a 3080 too, was expecting a price hike but surprisingly nope. Selling my buddy my 2080 for $300 to get him to switch over from xbox

My buddy sold his 2080ti last week for 1200, bucks. That guy probably feels horrible
