    Yup.

The movies will be cash cows no matter, but Star Wars universe is ****ing massive and doing two standalone (perhaps three because I hear one may be centered around Yoda) on two already established, well-known characters disappoints me.

I wish they would get away from the Skywalker saga.

The stand-alone films are still just rumors that they are floating around. No confirmation that they are going to be doing those yet.

Disney CEO Bob Iger’s announcement Tuesday that the studio plans new Star Wars spinoff films has caused an avalanche of rumors online about which characters will star. Jedi master Yoda, bounty hunter Boba Fett, a young Han Solo are named the most.

Not sure I understand why Iger made what definitely sounded like a definitive announcement when it was just in the works... but... okay. That is very strange to say the least.

Han Solo could be pretty good depending on who they got, Boba Fett just never pulled me in as a character and it only got worse with how they did Jango feet and the Clones.

Yoda would definitely intrigue me as he's so much of a mystery to me other then the movies, Darth Maul would be awesome too

I think Han Solo's movie would be sick, if they cast the right actor. I could see that getting sequels, somehow.

So long as The Mouse never does a movie centering around:

I don't have any issue with Disney acquiring Lucasfilm because they didnt ruin Marvel Comics once they acquired them.

And if it gives me GOOD Star Wars movies I'm all for it.

Perhaps if he didn't direct all of the prequels, it may have turned out better. Still, I'm not one of those who thinks George ruined his own baby.
