    Interstellar (Christopher Nolan)

Looks like it could be his next project.

The 'Dark Knight Rises' director is negotiating to board the sci-fi project written by his brother and longtime collaborator Jonathan Nolan

According to multiple sources, Nolan has set his sights on a sci-fi project titled Interstellar, which he is in talks to direct and produce. The project involves time travel and alternate dimensions in a story that sees a group of explorers travel through a wormhole. The script is based on scientific theories developed by a Kip Thorne, a theoretical physicist, a gravitational physicist and astrophysicist at Caltech.

Looks like Jonathan Nolan might receive all writing credits, unless Chris jumps in during the screenwriting portion.

Gotta hold off anything related to Bond or pseudorealism for now, but I can already say I'll be first in line if this will really happen.

I'd watch a Christopher Nolan directed Barney movie. I'm there.

Nolan is a guy that gets my interest in just about everything he's done so my money is on this one. I've actually heard Kip Thorne on Coast to Coast AM a couple times. He has some very intriguing theories so it has all kinds of potential to be a good film.

Apparently Nolan is eying Matthew McConaughey for the lead.

Not that I find him and Gosling similar in any real discernable way (tough they both can have that "twang" to them), I always had games with people to re-cast the actors of Inception, and my top two choices were Kiefer Sutherland and Ryan Gosling for Cobb (EDIT: this was before the likes of "Drive" btw).

Having said that, though this is a different role entirely, I can "see" why Nolan might want to use McConaughey. I know, it's far-fetched from what I said, but still. And after watching The Lincoln Lawyer, I almost couldn't care less. Go for it!

Gosling and Nolan would be great, but I think it would be hard to top Gosling's and Refn's chemistry together.

Gosling in a 50s/60s Nolan spy thriller would be fantastic, though.

McConaughey is officially on board. Anne Hathaway is supposed to be in this, too.
