    Re: Interstellar (Christopher Nolan)

Saw the teaser once before Gravity.

Besides not knowing what the hell this movie is about (which is awesome), one thing I noticed was that Nolan used a different font in the title and credits. It's a lot classier. This normally wouldn't mean anything, but he has used the same Franklin Gothic font since Insomnia. Memento was the last film to have that "classy" font like Interstellar. Combine that with the fact that it's going a winter release, I'm just kind of expecting a new take and vision on what he's doing. Also given the setting being a lot more countryside, it's probably just going to be a lot more down-to-earth perhaps, which is slightly ironic all things considered.

I know that's very little to take from this trailer, but **** I might as well dissect something. I'm Blzer and I'm bored. That's a scary combination.

      Re: Interstellar (Christopher Nolan)

I just saw a new trailer in front of Godzilla.

I'm excited for it. This looks like a pure sci-fi drama from Nolan, and with significantly more emphasis on the drama. Matthew McConaughey seems to be a solid choice to act for him. I think that removing Hans Zimmer and Wally Pfister might be a blessing in disguise for Nolan, as this will appear a bit more naturally than some of his previous works, especially since they were summer blockbusters. You can tell in the trailer that his "stamp" is on the film, but it also looks different too. Everything in general just felt a bit more professional, though I don't know how to explain it.

I can't get to YouTube right now (blocked where I'm at) so I'll have to find it later.

EDIT: Looks like it's not up on YouTube anyway, so I just got myself a sneak peek out of it.

            Wormhole, food shortage

No more planes? Or did I miss something

I am ready to be amazed.

Pretty stoked about it. I like Nolan and have recently started enjoying McConaughey.

                      Is this a good "interesting"?

I'm going to try and avoid the trailer via YouTube, and if I happen to run into it at the theater then so be it.

It looks a lot different than the usual Christopher Nolan movie, but they're still being pretty mysterious about it. The visuals are amazing though.

It's going to be 169 minutes long, making it the longest Nolan film so far.

I don't even really know that much about the plot (which I don't think many do, actually), but I'm really looking forward to seeing this.

I'm digging this, but doesn't IMAX have a 165 minute cap?
