          From the NY Post

Pretty sure this isn't the Rhino final get-up. Much CGI assistance needed!

Addendum: or maybe that IS the costume. Dunno. But here's more in-depth look via dailymail.uk if you want to see more Giamatti pics, etc.:
What a transformation! Sideways star Paul Giamatti is transformed into glowering thug to take on Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man

God, I wish I had a Spider-Man suit. I would do stuff like that all the time just to **** around. It would be so awesome. Of course that's until some crazy bastard would try stabbing or shooting me because he really thinks I'm Spider-Man.

I would grill outside for my neighbors to see. Would probably also walk around town with my guitar singing about Spiderman stuff.

Yes, because Spider-Man's greatest weakness is small knives.

                          Welp, no MJ.
Between James Ponsoldt's The Spectacular Now, Gregg Araki's White Bird in a Blizzard, and the YA adaptations Divergent and The Fault in Our Stars, Shailene Woodley is about to become totally ubiquitous. One place we won't see her, though is in Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The rising actress has just revealed that her…

UPDATE: THR quotes Webb talking his decision to cut MJ: “I made a creative decision to streamline the story and focus on Peter and Gwen and their relationship. Shailene is an incredibly talented actress and while we only shot a few scenes with Mary Jane, we all love working with her.”

I'm glad cause it was starting to get filled with too many characters and it makes sense for her to show up after

I like the decision, since like jmood said, too many characters are being introduced and that was of course the death of the original trilogy.

The strange thing I thought is that they said it's possible MJ could be re-cast. That would be a pretty ****ty break as an actor/actress.

I'd love it if they did keep one scene to introduce her at the very end, similar to how she was introduced in the comics.

I'm simply glad because it sounds like it was Webb's decision this time. Like Columbia (or whoever) stepped in too much on SM3, they stepped in too much on TASM. I think for them to get Webb back, they offered him more free reign.

Makes me feel like this will turn out for the best.
