Really liked Silver Linings Playbook. Bradley Cooper has no chance, but I'm glad he got the nom. I'm really pulling for Jennifer Lawrence as Best Actress.

Alright just got back from seeing Beasts, Life of Pi, Les Miserables, and Amour so here are my predictions

Best Picture
Argo
Wasn't my favorite, but was the best IMO, it just flowed very nicely

Best Director
Benh Zeitlin – Beasts of the Southern Wild

For a 1.8 M budget he really did a great job, had he been nominated I would give it to Afleck

Best Actor
Who I want to win: Bradley Cooper I've always liked him and he did a great job

Who should win: Daniel Day Lewis he did an amazing job playing arguable the greatest President of all time

Hugh Jackman was also great

Best Actress
Jessica Chastain – Zero Dark Thirty
This was close for me, I thought Rivera and Watts both did a great job, but I'm giving this won to Chastain

Best Supporting Actor
Tommy Lee Jones – Lincoln
Again many good choices De Niro and Waltz both were great, but Lee Jones was superb. I don't think Arkin should even be nominated for this.

Best Supporting Actress
Anne Hathaway – Les Misérables

I don't even think another actress has a chance

I don't think anyone has a chance for Best Actor, Daniel Day Lewis is as close to a sure thing as you can get

I know it's supposed to be pretty competitive but I don't see how Hathaway doesn't win. She was tremendous in Les Miserables and she has a song that highlights her performance.

That's the debate. She was good as an actor trying to sing. That's one of the biggest problems with the newest Les Mis. I'd rather watch great singers that are mediocre actors. They did over 20 takes for Anne's song, and ended up using take 4. For anyone in the industry, you know that means that they kept trying, and eventually just settled. When they get the good take, they shoot one or two more to be safe, and call it a day.

Her role, although very good, was short-stinted. Very little screen time, all things considered.
