No idea. I remember a Skywalker kid supposedly being rumored at the beginning but don't know if they squashed that one (they might have).

Plus, I forgot a Skywalker kid could, technically, mean Leia's.

To be honest, I don't think I'm a SW fan. I think I'm a ep 4-6 fan. I couldn't name many scenes from the prequels, they just never really interested me and from all accounts they pretty much sucked so I don't feel bad.

So this feels like a proper continuation (literally) of the franchise, picking up where 6 left over 30 years ago. Safe to say, I'm excited for this! Something about Star Wars just grabs you, obviously I'm not the only one who feels this way. One of a billion probably.

I think the teaser looked great. Luke's voiceover was a little weird in the way he said "My father has it" speaking of the Force. Why not "had it." Wonder who is was talking to, the new girl? The "We're Home" at the end was awesome.

Yeah the way he is talking (If its Luke) seems to imply that his dad isnt dead which wouldnt make any since. Who knows but one think is for certain, the teaser was great.

That literally brought a tear to my eye. I first discovered Star Wars when my father bought me the Original Trilogy on VHS when I was around 7 years old. One of my fondest memories was watching Empire Strikes Back, sun coming up around 530am, just before we were about to embark on a family trip to the mountains. As cool as all these comic book movies that are coming out now, how grand The Dark Knight was, nothing quite evokes that emotion of childlike wonder as Star Wars does for me.

I cannot wait.

A strong Jedi never dies. They forever live through the force. Vader turned back to the light at the end of ROTJ. And he's got as much strength as Obi Wan and Yoda. Obviously shown at the end of ROTJ.

I will be at this movie at midnight I don't care if I have to go teach without a single hour of sleep. Then I'll probably see it about 2-3 more times. I feel like this movie is going to be sooo good.
