Rian Johnson (Looper) will direct and write VIII:

As J.J. Abrams continues to work on Star Wars Episode VII, it seems his successor is about to get to work. Looper writer/director Rian Johnson is expected to be announced as the writer and director of Star Wars Episode VIII. Initial reports said he was going to makeStar Wars Episode IX too but, that doesn’t seem to be the case. He will, however write a treatment for it.

A Yoda trilogy is something i've been wanting to see for the longest time.

For those deep into the EU (well former EU) has there been any good books that really go into the life/history of Yoda?

Looks like Disney might be about to say forget what you saw in episodes I,II,III.....That didn't exist. It's not canon. Can't say I'd be disappointed if someone else gave those first 3 movies another go.

I've read that rumor before awhile ago, but ignored it cause it never appeared again. Don't really see it being true as they have plenty things they can do for solo films or could continue past Episode 9 if Disney pulls a Marvel with just pumping then out for awhile.
