Interesting title. I wonder if Luke and Leia are still the only known Jedi in the galaxy at the start of the movie, and then then Force users start appearing. If the title had been "The Sith Awakens" that would have given more insight into the plot possibly.

I think you're on the right track with this. Perhaps there's some existential threat which prompts the rebirth of The Force?

Hmm title kind of could be an indication into the long running idea that Luke goes into hiding of some sort.

I'm very much looking forward to this movie, from the sounds of it they are trying to do this the right way. I'm praying this does well because I think this universe has potential to pump out a ton of interesting movies if done right.

I love that title. I can't wait for the 1st trailer. I'm excited for this movie. I'm a huge Star Wars fan. That title sounds like "The Force Unleashed" to me. I guess they looked at the tremendous success of that game and said that they should name this movie with a title that is something similar to that.

Wow better than Empire Strikes Back? Way to over hype a movie. I'm just hoping for an actual good movie and not a repeat of the prequels. Just do that JJ and I'll go to every movie you make

I agree with you completely. Daniels is just setting himself up for the crazy fanboys to go after everyone in lynch mob style.

Pretty sure he will. JJ is walking a fine line directing Star Trek and Star Wars movies so I think he'll make a point to make stylistic alterations.

Confirmed reports say that Luke Skywalker will have a beard. He is the new Jedi Master. He will assume the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi for now on. Unconfirmed reports say that he will take Leia and Han's daughter as his apprentice. She is the newest Jedi. Also, no word yet on which color lightsaber she will be using. My best guess is the blue one, since it was both Anakin's and Luke's color. Jacen Solo her twin brother, is said to be in this one. No official word yet on if he will turn to the darkside like he did in the extended universe novels.

Unconfirmed reports say that Emperor Palpatine will return for this trilogy. Word is that he return as a clone. In case you're wondering, yes, he did die at the end of ROTJ.

The main villains of this new trilogy are the Sith Inquisitors. You might known them as the menacing bad guys of the "Star Wars: Rebels" TV series. They are the assistants of the Sith. Darth Vader and the Emperor died, so they have to pick up where they left off. No word yet, on if the Emperor clone will lead them or not.

Yeah, with that Jedi Master robe he does look a lot like Obi-Wan. I have heard that Luke will switch back to original lightsaber color for this trilogy. Maybe we'll see him in the teaser trailer this Christmas. I'm excited for that BTW.

From the leaked concept art, you can definitely see the Empire isn't gone, and will play a role. Theres a picture of a girl using a light saber so that could be a clue as to the rumor about Leia and Hans daughter.
