Re: Star Wars: Episode VII
I thought Menace was the weakest of the prequels but I had no problem with Clones and Sith and actually rather enjoyed them quite a bit.
But whatever. Onward and upward.Comment

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII
I wasn't really a fan of Clone Wars it kind of just felt pointless in the grand scheme of things, but that may just be me. Phantom Menace gets points for the amazing Darth Maul fight scene, Sith was overall a decent movie especially in the 2nd half.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Sith may actually be my favorite in the series. I love that movie, and it's the movie that really got me into Star Wars as an adultComment

Sounds like this will be a passing of the baton (or light Saber movie) movie and got a feeling someone will die and that will be Han Solo.Comment

Phantom Menace had its moments. The Race scene was really well done (despite Lil' Anakin) and Darth Maul was arguably my favorite villain of the series. That last fight was something special.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Re: Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens
Unbelievably big Star Wars fan to a point of obsession... this movie comes in all the proper trappings of the Original Trilogy, but I fear that in their attempt to capture nostalgia in a bottle, they will have forgotten to craft a story that actually makes sense and fits logically with I-VI. It's hard enough to continue the series with its main character (Anakin) dead. Worse yet, it's as though they think that the only things about Star Wars that matter are seeing the same things (stormtroopers, X-Wings, the Falcon, etc.) recycled again. It smacks of being highly derivative and I hope my reluctance to embrace this movie is proven wrong. I won't get into a prequel/originals debate here; I love all six as one film, each has its own weaknesses and strengths that combine to create the most significant movie franchise in cinema history.
That said, specific to the trailer - I don't understand why people don't get that Luke's dialogue in the start is from Return of the Jedi. Listen to it and throw in the Blu-Ray (or download the new digital HD release!). All they did was re-arrange the dialogue. He's not talking to anyone in VII about this; he's talking to Leia before he turns himself in to Vader on the moon of Endor.
SpoilerAnd I'm not sure I'm ready to see Han Solo die on-screen. I have until December to prepare myself for that.Last edited by alifeincomplete; 04-18-2015, 09:58 AM.The Last of Us is the Citizen Kane of video-games. It is better than every game that has ever come before it, and is the new benchmark for all games to follow. It is nothing short of a work of art.Comment

He throws in "and you have it". Only difference between Luke's line in the trailer vs. Return of the JediComment

Thing is, they didn't just randomly add that voiceover in just cause. It's obviously meant to be foreshadowing a Skywalker.Comment
