So who was that in the trailer with their back to us touching the robot with his robotic hand? I thought maybe it was Luke, but the person looked too young & thin to be Luke.

The trailer certainly seems to suggest that Rey (the girl) is either tempted by the Dark Side or legitimately goes to the Dark Side, doesn't it?

I'm hoping that's not the case; would be cool to have a heroine.

            How rude lol.

It flashed by fast and I wasn't going to bother rewinding it to check. I've only seen it (the trailer) the one time during the game when it aired.

So then Luke was in the trailer in a sense.

I know will get many different opinions on this question. I want to introduce my grandson to the Star Wars films in preparation for Force Awakens.

Should I start with Star Wars and go from there. Or do I start them with Phantom Menace?

I prefer Machete Order. New Hope, Empire, then Phantom (optional since it doesn't really add much to the overall story), Clones, Revenge of the Sith, and then Return of the jedi.

It keeps Vader's reveal as a surprise/twist, and still concludes with Jedi, as it should. The first 2 movies are Luke's story, second 2 are Anakin's and then Jedi ties them together. That's how I would introduce someone to the films. Personally, I skip Phantom Menace.

For someone who has never seen any, I'd just go in episodic order. Has your grandson seen The Clone Wars or Rebels?

He has probably watched Clone Wars, but I'm gonna talk to him in a little while

I've always wondered how kids go from The Clone Wars to the films. The Clone Wars really made Anakin likable which was pretty tough in the movies.

I personally liked the prequels. Execution could have been a lot better, but there are some really good parts.

So we talked. He has watched Clone Wars & is watching Rebels.

He wants to watch them on order I-VI. It's been a while since I've seen the films.

I'm looking forward to sharing & making new memories with him.

                              Thanks everyone
