Spoiler rules say that the Monday after release that spoiler tags aren't needed or so, I think.

That being said, I think the Vader being Snoke theory is the worst one out there. Vader is dead.

I put spoiler tags around it because it is one of the biggest spoilers in movie history, and because saying "Screw spoilers" because you had it spoiled for you is completely disrespectful to other members of this forum. You literally used more characters being 'rebellious' against spoiler tags than it would have taken to use them.

Snoke being Darth Vader would be lame.

Snoke simply cannot be Vader. We've already seen Anakin, Obi-wan & Yoda together at the end of ROTJ in the afterlife.

I don't know if that counts as afterlife or not, unless that's what the force pertains to as well. But I know what you mean.

I expect he'll have a simpler origin but still rooting for him being a manifestation of the dark side of the force as a result of the slaying of the emperor and Vader. Give him personality traits of both, some inner turmoil and some interesting possibilities to defeat him.

Finally saw the movie this afternoon. Managed to avoid all spoilers too, so still went into the movie just as Frank Costanza would like "fresh".

I'll simply state that the movie exceeded my expectations in a major way. Very, very happy and based on the initial blush, I'd rank it right up there with Epsiodes IV-V for me in terms of favorites in the series.

Saw it a 3erd and final time last night has I am now going to want for the bluray but the movie is either my second or 3erd favorite star wars movie out off all 7. ROTJ is my favorite and then either this one or ESB cant decide between those 2.

I prefer The Force Awakens to all of them, but it's mostly the combination of far superior filmmaking and not too much "weird" stuff going on (add the levity that Revenge of the Sith doesn't have as well, which I liked).

I too saw it multiple times in theaters, even though I think the BD purchase would have felt more special had I only seen it once in cinema.

Saw it in IMAX yesterday and with my mom today to make four times total. One of those rare movies that I've actually enjoyed more the more I see it. Although the IMAX was overrated, IMHO.

I had it behind the original trilogy on my first viewing. It's right there with Empire at the top for me now.

I very rarely see movies multiple times in the theatre, but I may make an exception here.

As others have said, this is what the dreaded prequels should've felt like in terms of story content and cinematogrphy. I'm so glad Abrams didn't go nuts with CGI and brought this film back more to the storytelling aspect of the original trilogy.

The diversity in the characters was also much-needed. Major kudos to Abrams for taking a few steps in the right direction there.
