If they really go ahead with a sequel, Godzilla better get a lot MORE screen time. They did an amazing CGI job on him.

Well, in some of the Toho films, Godzilla didn't get that much screen time(check out the original).

There's only one monster I want in the sequel - King Ghidorah!

I read two more Godzilla sequels are planned. Keeping my fingers crossed Toho will allow Edwards to use their classic monsters.

Godzilla II - The Coming of King-Ghidorah (how sweet would that be?)

UPDATE:
From what I've seen online, it looks like Mothra will be facing off against Godzilla in the sequel. And I noticed a couple of Mothra 'easter eggs' in the film.

The same reports have Mecha-Godzilla for the third film. I'd rather see King Ghidorah.

I thought Godzilla 2014 was well done. It sh**s on that crapfest from '98. My only beef is Godzilla was portrayed differently in this movie than he was in the trailer. I don't like the 'defender of humanity' angle. I prefer the 'destroyer' role, which he was in his original film, killing mfers left and right, and poisonong them with radiation.

DVD comes out in November - I'll be picking that bad boy up.

Well I wouldn't say he defended humanity. He pretty indifferent toward them, actually. Normally like how we are with ants if we walk by them on the street. Now if they're in our house, that's totally different haha.

We got this movie on DVD last week. Will probably end up watching this soon. Maybe Friday. I wanted to see it in theaters but it didn't work out.

King Kong - Skull Island November 2016.

Finally a King Kong movie based solely on his life on Skull Island before he was captured. Now that is something Kong fans can sink their teeth into. And who knows. maybe we finally get a modern day take on King Kong vs Godzilla.

I love the fact large scale monster movies are having a mini renaissance right now (Pacific Rim, Godzilla). I loved Cloverfield as well and really wanted a sequel about where it came from it's origin etc. But not to be it seems.

For this King Kong to match up against Godzilla, he'd have to be relatively the same size. The King Kong in the 2005 version is pretty tiny. They're going to have to make him much bigger ('can't climb up the Empire State Building' bigger).
