Re: Rocky Spin-off "Creed" in the Works

For how cliche it may be for a movie having their 2 sons face I'd love it so much.

I'm excited for his movie, big fan of most of the Rocky movies and Michael B. Jordan so hopefully this comes through.

I'm down with seeing this on the big screen this fall.

Too early for the revenge story. You have Creed as up and coming, so the most you give him right now is a shot at the title. If it clicks into a franchise then that's another story. (IMO)

Just have the movie end... then have an end of credit clip slowly panning in a gym showing Rocky's son lacing up.... go to black.

Don't like the overdone happy ending bit, huh Mike (lol)? Fantastic to see Rocky's death? You may get your wish early. Rumors have Rocky with a serious illness.

Trivia: Stallone is the only credited writer for all six Rocky films, but did not write the Creed screenplay.

So now we have Adonis fighting Rocky's son in Creed 2?

Maybe not 2 (In fact maybe never- Rocky's son get killed in ring by a punk/cheapshot - this after maybe becoming friends with Creed- thus leading to a showdown with Creed vs - Punk)
...either way just the visual would get people talking and already get hype for the next movie. I was playing role of advertising department/hype department...

Strange movie. Of course the trailers advertised Apollo's death, but that didn't stop fans from turning out in droves. They wanted to see Rocky exact some measure of revenge.

I know it's a cop out, but I would have preferred Apollo being in critical condition, and then surviving at the very end.

I prefer they take the story on a more original arc,

                    for instance,

Mr Ts Kid comes out of nowhere, and beats Creed, and Rockys son trains him and they like have a montage while running along the beach, and then Creed beats Mr Ts son. Then they can maybe throw something in where Creed takes on Hulk Hogans kid for charity but hulks kid goes nuts and takes it too seriously, but Creed wins anyway. (not sure how believable that last part would be though)

That's original? The title could be Rocky III The Second Time Around.

^^^^^LOL, I thought about it being a joke, but because there are a few son versus son scenarios being thrown out there I wasn't really sure.
