That's how I felt after Season 1 episode 8. Lol Hated reading before picking up A Game of Thrones. But you'll be jumping out of the fryer into the slow cooker. If you think waiting week to week is bad wait until you are waiting for years in between books lol.

I heard the NY Post had the major spoiler right on the front page. That's dirty.

Well isn't Martins health becoming a issue? I know a lot of people are worried that he will pass away before finishing the series and maybe it was on here that I read that he already told and/or has something in place as to if he passed before he was finished he has layer out the events that he wants to happen before hand.

in this very episode. I thought that was really cool, and slick.

Now maybe there is more to it, I really don't know (and wouldn't confirm it either way anyway if I did), but I think anyone could figure it out or at the very least come up with a very educated guess if they paid close enough attention. Was real proud of my wife for catching it.

Its been stated on the interwebz that Martin has told Weiss and Benihoff how the series will end so that they will be able to finish the TV series, should he pass or more likely, the TV show catches up to and passes the books.

If you pay attention to what the main suspects say, where they place things, and the camera angles at the wedding, it's pretty obvious who is responsible. Like someone said before, HBO did a great job at making it possible to guess who it is.

Read ahead. Yeah it spoils the show for you but I actually enjoy seeing everyone's reactions.

After rewatching the episode, I can't rule out the pie. If its not the pie and is the wine, I'm pretty sure I have a good idea who did it.

HBO producing seasons ahead of the books would be so awkward; especially if Martin were alive and well writing them still.

I personally think it's Margery's Grandmother but I'm honestly not too sure.

If it wasn't the pie, then that would be the most logical guess.

So who rules the kingdom now? Is Margery the Queen or does it defer back to the Lannister Clan and the next son in line.

No spoilers please. Just only let me know if it was stated in the TV series already.

I would guess it would be like what happened when Robert died. Acting queen, Margery (in place of Cersei), becomes Queen Regent & next heir in line, Tommen (in place of Joffery), becomes King.

Haven't read the books but if it happened once I would assume the procedure is the same.

I would also guess that Margery won't have much actual power as Queen Regent if she does get that title. Cersei's only power, which was limited, in the role was in the influence she had on her son.

Yes, Tommen would be king in normal monarch situations, but I doubt that Margery will be queen regent as she has no blood ties to Tommen and I'm not sure the marriage was consummated. It may defer back to Cersei in which case, she's going to rule the joint.
