Be careful what you wish for. Couldn't stand Joffrey but he also made the show that much more fun to watch. You gotta have that evil guy to keep things interesting so in a way I'm gonna miss having the little prick around.

So I guess we got a "Who shot JR" thing going now because I could think of loads of people who would benefit from having Joffrey gone. I haven't read the books so no spoilers here but my money is on Cersai doing the deed. She has another son who takes the crown who's not a psychopath and more easily controllable and this turn of events probably gets her out of her impending nuptials. She was pretty quick to accuse Tyrion of doing it, this way she kills 2 birds with one stone.

Yep, when you hear Gleeson talk in and about things other than GoT you know he isn't a bad guy at all. Makes his acting all the more special. For a genuine nice guy to play such an evil character and make you hate him. It is a testament to the actor.

He said he was done acting I believe after this role as well which sucks, because if he can play Joffrey this well I'm sure there would be a lot of roles in the future he would excel in as well.

I have not read the book either but I would have to say its not Cersai although your justification is a very valid point, thing that points me into a different direction is that someone came to usher off Sansa right before the whole choking thing went down.

I don't remember them figuring this out by the end of Book 3. I know Lord Baelish told Sansa that he did it. I may start Book 4 this week but I may wait until after the season.

Anyway, thought it was a great episode. They had to throw in some extra bits of Jeoff being an ******* to really get you to hate him all over again. His death face was pretty gross which makes it satisfying.

The Cersai theory is a pretty good one but the jester trying to save Sansa's life puts a hole in that one. They really tried to hammer in how many people at the party would want him gone.

After tonights episode I now know why some people were up in arms about what I said when I said Joefrey and Tyrion. To be clear that I did not know about this happening the way that it did so I never expected it.

Anyway I think it could be the Fool. I mean he was quick to get Sansa out of there while he was dying. It also could of been Sansa since she wanted to go so badly. I dont think it was Tyrion though since he is being accused and the way he was looking at the cup.

I have also been guessing it could be a group of people working together to make sure he was going to end up dead. I mean really everyone: his grandfather, his uncle, Sansa, the Tyrells, Oberyn, and even his Mother had reasons to see him dead.

I think it was the wine that did it. If you notice Tyrion is holding it in the end of the episode examining it. To tell you the truth didnt he recieve that goblet from someone? Could they have poisoned the cup its self rather than the wine.

The last place the cup was before Joffrey took the drink was near (or at, don't recall) the Tyrell's table, so there's that.
