I still say, book and show, little finger is the most dangerous man in the realm. Followed by Varys. Remember Littlefinger also runs Harrenhal as well as pretty much running the Vale now.

And Eyrie is pretty much inpregnable unless you fly through the moon door with a dragon. Littlefinger as acting "queen regent" of the Vale can pretty much do as he wishes without consequence. He has his minions do his bidding anyway, but should anyone figure out what Littlefinger is actually up to, I'm not sure there would be any way to get to him.

Sandor hasn't been confirmed dead in the books and personally I don't believe he's dead. Just because the dude in the books (can't remember who exactly, Lem?) was running around with his Hound's Helm doesn't mean he took it off Sandor's dead body. I'm not sure what they'll do with him while Arya is off in Braavos, he might just have to disappear for Season 5.

Re: Sansa/Littlefinger - their story was accelerated so much that the show has essentially caught up to their plot line in the books. I'm guessing we'll get maybe 1 or 2 more scenes from those two in the final three episodes. It'll be very interesting to see if the TV guys start making up their own story for them or keep them out of Season 5 too.

The final three episodes should be so great...

If I remember right Sansa/Littlefinger's story ends in ASOS with Lysa being thrown out the moon door, so they haven't really gone past it. She's only in 3 or 4 chapters of Book 4, so maybe that's why it seems like they have caught up. She'll probably be MIA for most of the episodes next season.

What about the Lords Declarent part? Where the lords of the Vale essentially try to give Littlefinger the boot? I guess they could stretch out that and Harry Hardyng out into a season's worth of scenes.

I suppose with Bronn, the one of the AFFC/ADWD seasons he could have the part where he indeed becomes Lord Protectorate of House Stokeworth, and the other replace Ilyn Payne and travel with Jaime to Riverrun. Bronn is too cool for the show to phase him out.

I can essentially see them having Bealish continue to teach Sansa the "Game of Thrones" while they are in The Vale. Sansa was pretty damn naive in Season/Book 1. It was she who told Cersei that Ed was planning on leaving the capital before Robert had even died, letting her know he was not going to claim the throne in his name, but let Stannis take it and name his own hand. It seems that in the books she is learning how to play the game while in the Eyrie. I could see that continue in season 5. I could also see them not really need her character as there is a lot happening in Kings Landing, at the Wall, in the south and across the Narrow Sea in books 4&5.

I think we get that in one of the next 2 episodes. Seems like Stannis showing up to crush Mance Rayder's attack will be Episode 10. Unless they want to put the Thenn's attack and Rayder in the same episode.

I thought The Mountain from the first season looked more intimidating but this new one is ginormous. He looks like he's 400 pounds.

I agree, the first mountain just looked like an all out evil mean mofo.


Was that supposed to be the Mountain at casterly rock with tywinn? I thought it was but he looked like a little sissy so I really didn't catch if he was definitely the mountain or not.

The current mountain just looks like a hodor(sp?) That is in better shape. Nothing mean about the guy he's just a huge guy.



Having not read the books I don't know how nasty the mountain is but just from the hound story and him going nuts in the jousting event I would think the character would be better served being portrayed as a big evil and dark looking dude rather than just a humongous young guy that it is now.

I agree, this new mountain looks soft. Sure he's a huge dude, but his face isn't intimidating at all. Nothing like the first guy who played him. I guess it doesn't matter either way.
