The "twist" at the end was a pretty desperate attempt by the writers to find a way to plausibly put Carrie back in play. The character is just written into a corner and there's no way, that I can think of, for them to bring her back into the CIA fold and keep the show on the rails. I'm still going to hang around just to see where it goes, but I'm not optimistic.

Why is Showtime so determined to make us like the Brodys? We don't care about them anymore.

I thought it was clever though. I was wondering how they were gonna get her out of the corner too.

The only way I can see the Brody stuff mattering is if Carrie is involved in it again. So I guess we'll see.

They had to do it somehow. Having it unfold like that was pretty predictable.

When I thought the daughter couldn't get more annoying, she surprises me.

The posts so far this season have made me realize that the more annoying Dana is and the more people bitch about here, the more hilarious I find her character.

Where's CMH, I know he liked her last season.

Keep the show on the rails? Like having a CIA officer help a terrorist escape the country?

Anyway, I didn't expect her to be back/still with the CIA. I was expecting she'd end up with Brody again, and who knows, maybe that'll happen.

I loved Season 2. Season 3 has some work to do. It hasn't been awful for me, but I tend not to overthink those types of things. The show needs more action at this point.

I think the humor could be found more in her performance. Her character is always so sullen and gloomy, you're looking for some light in there. I could tolerate her a little more if she looked like El Niño's daughter.

I loved Season 2. Season 3 has some work to do. It hasn't been awful for me, but I tend not to overthink those types of things. The show needs more action at this point.

Yeah, Season 3 has been a lot slower so far IMO, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. I really enjoyed the past two episodes. I feel kinda stupid for not seeing the ending of the most recent episode coming.

Was never a "24" guy, so I'm good with the storyline. As far as "liking the Brodys", I'm not sure where that vibe is coming from. I don't get that sense. I do see Showtime pushing a bit with having people more clearly discern terrorists from peaceful practicing Muslims. That's about all I guess I can say here though.

I don't get the logic for leaving Brody out of 3/4 episodes. This just being a CIA thriller with Brody as an occasional sub-plot does not interest me.

Is he busy doing other things? That's what pisses me off. I watch for the main plot. If he's not part of the show, what the hell am I watching?
