Can't believe what happened to start the season! Rupert might be gone already!

Redemption Island is quickly becoming my least fave thing about Survivor ever. First redemption island season got out Russell Hantz. And now this redemption island might get out Rupert!?!

Rupert's too emotional regarding his wife anyway, if he's gone he's gone, I don't necessarily WANT him gone, but I could do without the constant overdramatics. We get it, you love your wife!

With 20 people to start season and redemption island along the way, safe to say that we're gonna be getting quite a few double tribals this year.

Based on how Colton treated Kat at immunity challenge this show and previews for next show...Guess it's safe to say that he HASN'T changed 1 bit from last time. There's a difference between acknowledging your mistakes, and learning from your mistakes.

The first tribal council and they call it a "blindside". Give me a break. Stop overusing that term!

When are contestants going to come to Survivor actually prepared? You should know how to make fire beforehand and at least practice swimming. Several of this cast were horrible swimmers.

I'm surprised the CBS crew didn't give the tribes blow up mattresses. They gave them saws, hammers and nails? WTF?

No mention of a hidden immunity idol(s) as of yet (if there is one).

The most annoying person for me so far is brad Culpepper. I can't see him lasting long.

For the blindside....Don't get why exactly they call certain things blindside. A blindside is when the person voted out had no idea they were going. Marissa basically said it was like a 50-50 chance she was going, so how exactly is that a blindside.....

As for the idol:

I believe the rules for the idol are that whoever wins the redemption island challenge each week, can give the clue to whoever they want(on either tribe). I can really see whoever wins the first challenge, giving it to their loved one(especially if Rupert wins)

Tonight I wouldn't consider a blindside either.

Can't believe Rupert is gone already! Part of me wants his wife to make it to the end just so that it'd be sorta like he made it to the end. I'd laugh if he wins fan fave of this season even though he technically never really even played the game(I believe he's the only player in Survivor history(who didn't quit or get taken out of the game) to be gone without receiving a single vote)

Now Tyson might be gone next week too!?! This season is starting off crazy(in a somewhat bad way). Heroes vs Villains was great to see big players out early cause the season had so much depth, but if big players go out early in this season, we might be forced to have bad players near the end.

With Rupert gone already, does that mean Survivor isn't rigged?

Or will they introduce another twist later where any player to leave the show without being voted out can come back and instantly have immunity

Or if Laura goes to Redemption, Rupert has option to switch with her meaning Laura is gone from the game and Rupert goes (back) to Redemption lol.

Really surprised though that he was gone. I know shows aren't entirely rigged, but at times they do sway things in peoples favor(the last season with Redemption Island they gave Ozzy a challenge basically involving climbing and holding onto a wooden stump(one of the things Ozzy was most known for in his seasons)).

I officially hate Redemption Island now. Russell,Rupert both gone(pre-merge) because of it. Nothing will ever make me like Redemption Island. I really hope it's gone next season. It was a horrible twist, it shouldn't have happened a 2nd time(even worse now for a 3rd).

My memory is horrendous but wasn't there one season of Survivor (Palau maybe?) where 2 people were eliminated without playing the game? They had an impromptu immunity challenge where the first 2 people would then be captains and pick teams. The last 2 not picked were automatically eliminated.

Good that Colton quit! Nice to see Jeff bash him on his way out too. Never bring back quitters! Guess it's sorta fitting that Jeff always said that, but then the one time he does bring back a quitter, they quit again. For anyone who saw Big Brother 15.....Aaryn actually seems like a good person compared to Colton! She was unaware of her comments but at least stated she wants to change(whether it was true or not is another story), Colton on the other hand flat out just doesn't care if his comments upset people.

And what a blindside! Redemption Island duel next week will be intense. Imagine if Marissa finishes 1st, then it'd force John/Candice to either compete against each other, or just decide who would have better shot to stay alive at redemption and get back in the game.

Also, a spoiler on something that happens in the future of this game(regarding 1 player)

Hayden is on the yellow tribe. I saw a video for the survivor intro on youtube and on Haydens part, you could see him wearing a yellow buff. So looks like we'll eventually see tribe switches(and that'll probably be when the 2 people from redemption make it back).

Man I don't know if Survivor has finally run its course, but this season isn't looking too good. First off, what is up with everyone freaking crying???

It's Survivor! These people are making it seem like they're sending their family members off to be killed somewhere. It's really annoying. Especially when the guys start crying.. It's like really?

Which is the reason why I loved the blindside from last week. I can't wait to see John and Candice face off.

Colton provided some laughs. It was hilarious when his fiance said.. "Shhh, it's ok." LMAO! then when Jeff was bashing Colton, he runs off and goes "I don't care about this game anymore" and sits on his fiance's lap. Part of me feels like this is all staged. But part of me was also laughing my *** off watching the scene.

I don't think any of the girls are hot. Candice is decent and so is Tyson's gf.. but everybody else.. meh.

Rupert's wife my have a beard as big as Rupert if she makes it to the final 3.

My favorite to win? Tyson. He was my favorite mastermind in his first season.

Edit - I do like the twist they did with redemption island where the love one can switch. It definitely adds more strategy to the game which gives it a breath of fresh air, but the cast is just not great this season.

I think they need to do like a Celebrity Survivor or a Pro Athlete Survivor to get the game back on the right paths.

I really like this season other than there being a tribe of returnees. I don't like it when one tribe has so much more experience in the game than the other, so I wish it was all new players with their loved ones.
