I didn't get the big deal about Laura B telling him. I guess it was because she did it out of nowhere? Either way I think it was smart of them to get Vytas around and try to get Aras in on the alliance.

I found it funny that Laura was all "I hope I gained more respect". And everybody is else went WTF?

But to answer the question with a question, women being women? I mean it would have went as planned if Laura had just passed it through everyone first. But they got all catty cause she didn't.

RC wasn't even good, don't know why they wanted her back in the first place. If her and her dad did make it on this season instead of Candice/John, then her and her dad might have been the two people voted out at the beginning of the game(when each tribe had to vote someone out), cause the reason she couldn't be on is cause I believe her dad didn't pass the physicals, so if he barely passed it an they were let on the season, he would've been gone fast. Then either RC or Kat would've been voted out on the returning players.

CBS for the most part, sucks at casting women, which is why many times we had returning players, the women stood out way less than the men. Other than the returning ones from Fans vs Faves(1st one) and Heroes vs Villains, none of other seasons with returning women really had multiple memorable females.

Mostly just because CBS in past few years only really casts for stereotypical females. Amazing Race is only one of the "big 3" that is good at casting women.

It's partly because of that, but I also think its because you never tell anyone they're being voted out, unless you're trying to form an alliance with them and blindside someone else.

I think the fact that she came out, as soon as they got back from the challenge, and blurted out that she and the other 3 ladies have already decided that Vytas will be voted out, got under the skin of the former players. (Tina and Monica) I feel like those are the 2 alpha females of the tribe, so having Laura B come out and try to become a "leader" hurt the ego's of the ladies, especially Monica.

Oh goodness, I didnt even know RC was supposed to be on the show! I definitely prefer Candice over her.

And I don't mind idiots that prove they're idiots on the show. I just hate people whining like her after knowing she has no chance to stay in the game.

            Re: Survivor Blood vs Water

One thing I realized. There's 13(including redemption island) people left. The jury usually starts at 12(except for last season), so how will they decide this?

Whoever wins at redemption island is back in, will they just be like "whoever finishes 2nd will be in jury, and whoever is last goes home".

Or might they finally go back to a 2 person finale? It'd make more sense cause a player returning would make the number be 11, so a 2 person finale with a 9 person jury possibly?

Hopefully it's not like last year and 8 person jury for a final 3. If it is...I hope it's a tie. 4-4 tie would be funniest thing ever.

And hoping the merged name is original. Not something cheap like "Galhana" or "Tadlang" (combining their original tribe names)

              Re: Survivor Blood vs Water

At least the merged name was original...Even though they never had anyone explain anything, they just randomly showed the name in one scene and that was it. Nobody told Jeff the tribe name, nobody explained it or anything.

For those who wanna know, according to google translator, it means companion, partner, comrade ect. Don't know how someone on the tribe figured that out...maybe one of the producers just told them to use it.

Wonder if Aras will be on redemption for like 6 or so days with no duel since all other duels have been 3 people.

I've never watched Big Brother. Does that show have physical challenges to stay alive in the game?

Yeah including immunity challenges, social strategies, and a voting "ceremony" to evict a houseguest.

Pretty much the same concept, but there are major differences.

They don't have a steady supply of food. A lot of rice, coconuts, and fish they have to catch. With food in the occasional reward challenge.

There isn't a head of household/camp. When they go to tribal council they can write down whoever they want. Someone won't know they are getting voted out until Jeff starts reading the votes. The votes are read one by one, not just announced who lost. There is one person who can win immunity and be safe for the week. There are also hidden immunity idols which someone can find and then use if they think they are going out.

The challenges are usually pretty serious and a lot more physical. Not the wacky stuff like you see on BB.

This year Redemption Island is in play. Once voted out you aren't out of the game. You have a chance to compete against other voted out survivors for a chance to get back in.

Did Caleb utter a single word this episode? You would barely notice he was there.

Either he doesn't make it far, or it's just the producers punishing him for Colton quitting.

Usually around this point in the game, you really start to see who gets the good edits and who doesn't. The ones who are featured on TV alot, are usually the ones who make it to the finale show(regardless if they're in the finals or not)

Survivor Samoa was one of the big exceptions though, where someone who not only made it to the finals, but won(regardless of how controversial the jury vote was) barely had much tv time.

For anyone who watched the first season....BB(2nd contestant voted off in Survivor history) died a few weeks ago, he was 77. He was on a tribe with Gervase(who ended up voting him out)

Only the 2nd Survivor contestant to have died.
