    Re: Gotham

I was looking forward to the series but after seeing the pilot I am rather disappointed by it. Didn't care for the tone or any of the characters, found them more annoying than anything. The look it's the penguin, poison ivy, catwoman & riddler seemed forced & wore out it's welcome quick with me. I may give the next episode a watch but it look's like I'll be bailing on the series.

Good start, didn't expect to enjoy it. I thought the villain thing would be stupid, but Penguin was surprisingly good.

I have my reservations about The Flash (and that true to comic book costume) and the first part of this wasn't really gripping as some have said. The little bit I have watched The Arrow though I wasn't disappointed.

If you can look past the CW-ness of the acting, then Arrow is outstanding

I am not sure what to think of it yet. Riddler was it the episode? That is news to me. I didn't notice or see him in it.

He was helping Gordon and Bullock analyze evidence. He kept asking them riddles.

Out of all the villains shown, his appearance was the most cringe worthy. I hope they actually develop his character rather than make him a joke.

Ehhh, I didn't mind it. I liked how he was used as an assistant to the police department.

As for the villains, pretty much all of them were a little too "on the nose". Fish Mooney was probably the worst of all of them IMO, even though her character was created for this.

BTW this youtube channel is doing a weekly Gotham spoiler discussion after every episode. This is one of my favorite youtube channels. I watched this one and thought it was excellent. If you've got the time to invest i'd suggest following along with these guys.

The whole show is a big convenient coincidence with the character placement.

At times I thought it was laughable.

I guess you have to understand that in this world, these characters are Gordgon, Wayne, Nygma, Cobblepot, etc... they are not villains.

I think you get what I mean. Say nobody has ever heard anything regarding Batman, ever ever. Then nothing is coincidence, everything to their villainous acts happens probably as a result that they're all connected.

Because we know who they are, it seems too convenient, and as you said laughable.
