Wow. I haven't watched any of the recent Fast and Furious movies, only saw 1 and 2 but both are up there on my favorite movies list. RIP Paul.

While I was never a fan of the F&F movies I understood what it meant to a lot of people so when I saw this news I felt bad for the fans of the franchise. Only 40 years old too....

Perhaps it's because a man just died and based on accounts so far, it was thru no fault of his own. No one knows the whole story right now and yet some people are calling his death and that of his friend idiotic/not tragic. And even if it were, do people really have to slam someone who literally just passed hours ago?

By all accounts Paul was a pretty good and kind-hearted guy who has touched people's lives thru his movies and other endeavours. I just saw his video on-set with some of the cast/crew of Fast 7 reaching out to people via his organization to help raise money for the disaster relief in my country (Philippines); all the news reports also say he was doing charity work (again for the Philippines) before his accident. Much respect.

RIP Paul. You oughta deliver that 10 second car in heaven.

SMDH in here, we have some damn traffic cops in here or something. Paul Walker is gone, and we are gonna judge him? Get outta here with that. He wasn't even driving by the looks of it.

Who says he was the one being talked about in regards to speed? No one commented specifically towards him or said anything negative about him. People just want to be upset over nothing other than a simple observation when it comes to people and vehicles.

It shouldn't matter who it's being directed to. To come into a thread and say the deaths are idiotic and not tragic should never happen, period. Exceptions being child molesters, rapists, murders.. etc.

Pretty sure he was the one being talked about.

As far as I understand it, a forum is for discussion. This was a news thread regarding an incident and people can voice their opinion one way or another as long as they provide points. Just because a person posted a feeling thats in the minority doesn't mean he's trolling or he's not allowed to comment simply because others disagree.

If it was the whole "RIP Insert Name Here", fine, but this wasnt. And I find it highly ridiculous for others to think they can just run someone out of a thread because they're in the minority or have a differing opinion.

You're the one who came in here acting like Yanks and Leon were just trying to cause problems. You know someone said it was idiotic and not tragic and still try and act like those two were just "trying to find a reason to be mad".

You're being hypocritical by saying someone's allowed to express their opinion and say it's not a tragic death, but an idiotic one.. than you say they aren't allowed to express their opinion by saying it's not right to come into a thread and bad mouth someone who just died and who reportedly did nothing wrong.

After the heartwrenching confirmation of Paul Walker’s fatal accident, we’re now getting details about the friend who died driving the car: Roger Rodas, CEO of Always Evolving (a car customization shop in Santa Clarita).

The two had previously raced cars together in the Pirelli World Challenge series, and decided to take Roger's rare Porsche Carrera GT from a car show at his building to the Reach Out Worldwide charity event in LA.

Reportedly the car spun out, wrapped around a tree, and burst into flames with the two inside.
