I don't know man, I can't see Tony getting much further, he's showing off too much. Needs to seriously reel it in. His threat level is red right now and someone will make that move soon.

My question, why the hell did LJ give his idol to Tony? He had it made, drew a free idol with another in the bank, and all indications were that Tony wouldn't be getting any votes anyway. Hell they flat out announced it. Was that a show of faith or a total brain cramp? I'm leaning toward the latter

I think he read everyones reaction on the other side and they all seemed abit scared when Tony was playing,but happy when he played it for LJ, so LJ realized maybe Tony was who they were targeting, so he gave it to Tony. If Tony was gone, LJ is done, even with an idol. I really wanted to see what'd happen if someone with an idol found the new idol, that'd be the most powerful player in Survivor history in terms of how much control over the game they'd have(if you know what the new idol does,you'll know why).

Even though Trish and possibly now Kass is on their side, I'd rather see that 6 of Tony,Woo,LJ,Jefra,Trish and Kass as the final 6 in this game over final 4 of Spencer,Tasha,Morgan and Jeremiah.

Also, for some reason, Jefra is now my fave female on this season.

Jury starts at 11. So that means either 3 person final with 8 person jury, or 2 person final with 9 person jury.

Final 3s is really the big thing about Survivor I haven't liked over past few years, so I'm really hoping for the final 2. It emphasizes the importance of a win in the final immunity because only that 1 person decides who goes to the finals with them.

Great finish, but will someone tell me what in the hell was LJ thinking?

I dont know if it was brilliant use of idols, or the saddest double use of idols of all time. Tony strong armed the vote with announcing. Risky but I get that. Then flipping it to LJ, multiple layers of gameplay there by doing that. So I give Tony points but that could rub people the wrong way, we'll see on that.

But LJ...he should have kept his mouth shut and prayed that the vote went well. Which it obviously did.

LJ took the L tonight. Playing his idol more or less to win the trust of his alliance and more specifically Tony, which will be worthless. Tony is cool but anyone is willing to cut anyone else when its necessary. Not to mention he claimed he thought the idols didnt even exist. Played it 5 minutes later. Again, may rub people the wrong way.



Anyway, Sarah took the biggest L of the night. She got too big headed and should have realized that Cass was feeling some type of way.

And Spencer is such a lame. Keep your emotions to yourself dude.

Out of everyones game so far, Tony probably has played the best game, so really hope he doesn't get voted out.

As for Spencer..Is he gonna be the first guy ever on Survivor to never grow a beard despite being out there for this long. Seems like lots of people on twitter(even Spencer) joking about that.

Doesn't look like Survivor until guys grow 2-4 week long beards,girls don't look fake, and everyones getting destroyed by the elements and bugs.

Once I started seeing votes for Jefra I knew for sure that Kass wasn't going to flip... So much for that. I didn't get why Kass wanted Jefra out so bad. It was probably clever editing by CBS, but why did she was way too paranoid thinking Tasha was now out to get her.

I can see why LJ played the idol as insurance.

Spencer tweeted out a more thought out of his post-vote outburst. In summary he said Kass went from the head of their tribe to the #6 on the other. That is tweet is gone now though.

Given the numbers and at this point in the game, I don't think Kass's flip was the best play. After BOTH idols were flushed it was almost an idiotic play and too early in the merge, IMO.

What did it solidify really other than 5on5 showdown and after showing such a quick chance to jump ship what makes her believe that she gets any amount of trust from anyone at this point. Just way too soon to sustain and survive for the rest of the game - not to mention with both idols flushed you now have an easier opportunity to vote stronger competitors at the next two tribals with that being woo, tony and/or LJ.

I'm not against flipping I just believe Kass's standing with brains and the other 3 was much better ESPECIALLY when two idols from two of stronger competitors were flushed.

Yeah Kass seemed to put her own ego of wanting to enforce that Sarah wasnt calling the shots ahead of herself winning the game. I thought it was a horrible decision and she went from being top 3 on her current tribe to bottom dweller on the other.

With that, I'm gonna stay out of this thread for a couple weeks at least.

Majingir, I realize that your passion is tv shows and Survivor is one of your favorites but when you bring your internet research and behind the scenes knowledge here it can ruin aspects of the show for some of us. I know you think you're not revealing anything but knowing that there's some all powerful that guarantees a winning side is pretty spoilery.

I'm not guaranteeing anything. It's just my guess based on what the power is(which also isn't really a spoiler since Jeff already revealed it before the season even started), I don't even know if the idol gets found and if it does,if it got used or not, it's just my "intelligent guess" as a fan that this idol will be game deciding. They already revealed on the show there's another idol with special powers.

If I was spoiling it, I'd have stated what the power actually was which I'm not doing.

I have no idea about anything like who's gonna find the idol, who finishes where in the game or anything like that. Only info I know is stuff that was flat out stated by Jeff before season began.

I suspect the idols special powers is that you can use it after the votes are read. Which I think is a huge advantage and would really make things interesting and i wouldn't mind that so much. Anything more than that like saving two people, being used more than once or being a death idol (auto vote someone off) would make things lame IMO.

If that's the case then I hope LJ finds the "super idol" because I have a feeling he's not bright enough to use it to save himself.

I must have missed this entirely so if its been said let me know what it does lol. You can spolier it if need be but Im curious to hear what it does since I missed it somehow.
