Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
I thought the drivers intentionally hit her. Like make sure she needs rescuing so she would be indebted to them.
But they do have some explaining to do with that van fall. Its like they didnt want to bother filming upside down in the van. That had to be a lazy/budget moment by the producers/directorLast edited by kingkilla56; 11-17-2014, 02:58 PM.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
That's my take too. Isn't that their whole MO? "Rescue" people, then try to save them.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
It seemed like every flash back of hers they made it a point to show smoke in the background or somewhere int he scene.
I thought so as well.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
Yeah, This flashback stuff is a way of eating up alot of time. I know Robert is trying to get everyone in touch with each character but this is going to far now. I mean, the van thing sucked but it wasnt the first time we have seen lazy moves..

Daryl was forcing Carol to make a decision to save Noah, showing that she indeed still cared. He had his crossbow ready.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
They should have had the van drop, hitting the ground front side down and fall back on its wheels. It would have been slightly believable at least. Could have used the airbag saved them excuse too.
Anyway Im sure this will just go down as one of the shows lol moments.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
She talked about the symbolism of showing Carol and smoke in each of her flashbacks, and her talking about how different she is now from what she was before the outbreak. She said something about how she went to ashes and has basically been reborn as a survivor.
Every scene with fire had Darryl starting it, so there was significance there as Carol was saying how much Darryl has changed in that she thought he was a boy at the start and is a man now.
So ultimately, Yvette thought the smoke/fire acted as symbols for Carol's transformation, and maybe Darryl's impending transformation as the season progresses?
I probably didn't explain it all that well, but it made a lot of sense when she was talking about it. I'll see if I can find video.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
My mom thinks she ran in front of the car I purpose so that they had to take her, not that they intentionally hit her.
I agree.
I said before that I believed she got herself caught to get into the hospital and that it was Noah Daryl took back to the hospital.--

Yvette Nicole Brown had a great observation about this on Talking Dead.
