Re: Memory Foam Mattress
Thankfully, we've had no cases of a person having to live through the experience of not having a spinal cord. One possible cause of it, would have to be a birth defect. I highly doubt that could happen. That would be like the full effect of gravity times 10, in theory. That would be like living on such planets, where the gravity is greater than ours. An example of this would be Jupiter. You see, its mass is much larger than ours. If we were to try to walk on there, we couldn't. The effect of gravity would be too much of a shock to our nervous system.Last edited by bradtxmale; 01-10-2015, 01:16 PM.Comment

So if I didn't have a head, I'd be 8 pounds lighter? That would put me right around my goal weight...Boston Red Sox

Re: Memory Foam Mattress
I guess, I'm endorsing the use of it. I think it would be better, if more people knew more about it.Last edited by bradtxmale; 01-10-2015, 02:02 PM.Comment

Re: Memory Foam Mattress
In theory, enough body heat could set the mattress on fire. Thankfully, that's never happened. You see humans do generate enough body heat to warm another person. The estimated amount per person is 98.6 degrees F. If a person were to reach about 300 degrees, that would be hot enough to set the mattress on fire. Thank goodness, normal genetic body chemistry doesn't allow it. Can you imagine being on fire. Wow, that would be awesome.Comment

Re: Memory Foam Mattress
Maybe, I doubt it though. This mattress is supposed to be fire safe, already. You see, the material absorbs heat. In theory, its still possible to ignite the material.Last edited by bradtxmale; 01-10-2015, 02:26 PM.Comment

Re: Memory Foam Mattress
Guys, at 98.6 degrees having 4 people in your bed constantly is more than enough to light a bed on fire. That's just simple and good math.

Brad, since you've mentioned research earlier, I'm very curious to see your memory foam mattress rankings.Comment

I don't think something like that has been studied. Spontaneous combustion has, but that's another matter.Last edited by bradtxmale; 01-10-2015, 02:44 PM.Comment

I think it has to be, I come in reading and i'm like its informative, it's interesting, it's funny, what is going on I'm lost and confused, I understand that....hits on so many emotions...has to be early favorite for thread of the year.
BTW would love a memory foam mattress especially in these later years.-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment
