In that case, I have a suggestion. You know the old saying about how 2 minds are greater than one? The best strategy is seek the advice of someone else you trust, during the buying stage. In this case, its like football. Sometimes, the best defense is a good offense. Its wise to seek the advice of others. Of course, there's also the possibility of buying a fake replica. In my that case, my advice is to check for verification from the company you're buying from. A history of selling fake replicas is a huge red flag.

This is a good question. I worry Brad is on a level above us all. We may need help.

Older people burn easier so this combination of old people and memory foam seems like asking for danger and sadness.

I think hungover people are the greatest burning risk, due to dehydration.

Good point. The laws of physics backs that up. One law states that: the drier something is, the quicker it does burn. Take wood, for an example. It burns almost as fast, as paper. That's a very insightful remark. Naive, but insightful.

This technology was invented by NASA. You have to have those kinds of smarts to sleep in one without catching it on fire?

I'd also like to point out something else. Your body temp. does change naturally, as you sleep. It would be important to have a mattress that can be customized to suit your own personal sleep temp.

Not really, I've seen normal people have no problem with that. We all deserve to have a restful night's sleep. I am thrilled that this was invented.

Keep in mind hungover people went to bed drunk. Drunk people sometimes pass out with a cigarette in their mouth, which exponentially increases their odds of burning in their sleep.

So if I keep having a few beers tonight, sleep with about 3 blankets while on a memory foam mattress will I combust into flames?

I thought we already covered that spontaneous combustion was a no-no in here

Well alcohol is flammable. That could be a deadly combination.

My main concern is that if I have wood, and it's not getting wet, it may combust at any moment. It's the ol' "if you don't use it, you lose it" theory. I'm trying to figure out a way to make sure that anytime I'm in my bed, my wood is wet.

I think there's a disclaimer somewhere regarding that scenario when relating to memory foam, memory foam is not responsible for any wood that starts to burn after getting wet on their mattresses.
