If you are referencing A League of Their Own, that was Rosie O'Donnell or Geena Davis. I have never seen the movie. But according to the IMDB page, which is pretty accurate when it comes to this stuff, she is not in that movie.

No denying her box office appeal. She was good in one of my favorite comedies, Bridesmaids, but Wiig drove that one home. I think her fan base on Mike And Molly helps a lot, but I can't think of anyone who has had this kind of simultaneous success on TV and the movies.

Clark Gregg is good on Agents of SHIELD as Coulson. Tim Allen has some good movies and he was good on Home Improvement.

Rosie O'Donnell is the hot one, right?

Yeah I know. It would be a lot easier to get McCarthy and O'Donnell mixed up than McCarthy and Geena Davis.

Me too. Very disappointed when Commander in Chief was pulled after one season.

She made Earth Girls Are Easy a lot more bearable. On the eyes at least.

Geena Davis starred in one of my favorite action/crime flicks of the '90s in The Long Kiss Goodnight with Sam L. Jackson before he became a parody of himself.

Geena Davis also starred in one favorite 80s Tim Burton comedies, Beetlejuice.

I know people have been negative about the film but the team they have built is really solid.

Dan Fieg films have been big hits and they are original movies. Bridesmaids 288 million worldwide, The Heat 240 million world wide and these are rated R comedies. I could imagine he can make a big hit with top comedic talent and well known property with a PG-13 rating.

Yeah, I'm wondering if she was even 10 years old when A League of Their Own came out, lol. Now if they did a remake of THAT movie, she'd be perfect for Rosie's role... and yes, that was a GREAT movie. One of my favorite sports movies.

Couldn't ONLY "like" this. I love this movie. It's in my top 5 for so many reasons. If anyone knows Geena Davis and has not seen this, please watch it asap. Amazing combination of what we all knew and loved about Geena Davis and surprisingly flawless bad ***.

BTW, Sam Jackson was the same in this as in all the others you're talking about... he just hadn't had enough other movies to make it so obvious.
