IMO the best one of the series. I take back what I said about the Swede guy. He just earned his super villain stripes.

Like V!n$an!+y said the way Elliot sucked the esteem out of the security guy was awesome.

The stuff with Angela all worked too, squashing her boyfriend, and the father angle.

Top notch episode.

Yeah that scene with the tour guide was devastating. I would have said sorry to the actor after the scene was done.

One thing that sticks for me is the score. Really fits well with the show and have loved how all the episodes started right before we see the Mr. Robot logo. Its got a Trent Reznor feeling and couple that with fantastic camera work, its gonna win a couple Emmy's.

Looked him up: Mac Quale, looked like he did some programming for Drive which I can hear some of the style used in some of the tracks

My only complaint with the show is that I think the music is too high compared to the dialogue.
I couldn't even finish that withdrawal episode in one sitting because that combined with the episode itself being dumb was just too much.

The woman that the Swede walked in on played Shane's wife in The Shield. She was hard to like in that series which means she played her part well. Overall, this was a better episode.

To your spoiler I don't know. I'm easily confused about all this. Has anyone heard the theory that Elliot doesn't exist, and that he is a version of Tyrell?

The score from the 1983 Tom Cruise film "Risky Business" was perfect in that final scene in episode 5.

The "hallucination" theory has no legs anymore. Beyond simply interaction verbally, Mr. Robot has physically performed plot points. He was the one that did the badge scan in the coffee shop while the others sat at the table...with four cups.

Pretty advanced stuff for a imaginary character.

Yup, since we're now seeing Mr. Robot interact with other characters and perform tasks like the security badge thing, it just has to be the case...

Lots to like about this episode, but my favorite part was the incredibly tense / awkward dinner party scene...

Those are four intriguingly evil folks that are about to get some serious screen / plot time going forward...

Not sure that the CTO or CEO or whatever the label is, is evil. He's full of himself, but remains to be seen if he's evil.

He is at a minimum amoral/sociopathic. Paying that homeless dude so that he could beat the crap out him, stealing the info from that dudes phone after he had sex with him. Is that synonymous with evil? Your mileage will vary.

I won't spoil the theories here, but many people still have reasonable arguments for why Mr. Robot isn't real despite what we think we've seen him do.
