If so, were they keeping the dead there? I must have missed this explanation.

The solider that the old guy was torturing said something about being there and not being able to tell the living from the dead, so they just chained the doors shut. I don't think they said it specifically, but I thought that was the Staples Center.

Oh right. I did hear that. Just didn't connect the dots. Thanks.

Looks like the old LA Sports Arena.

That's exactly what that was looking at it from the front. Definitely not Staples lol.

If this franchise gets a third series, it should be from the perspective of the dead. Tears of the Walking Dead.
Through each episode, you would learn how a small band of the Dead came to be. Then, systematically, Dead you have come to know & love, would be hunted down & killed. I can see a scene, much like Bambi, where a Walker is minding his own business, strolling through a meadow, looking for the day's meal of brains &, uhh... more brains, when BAM, a knife in the head cruelly transforms him from Undead to dead.

I didn't know this was ending so soon. I know TWD is starting back up but figured they would just run them at different times or switch to a different night as it would really be a detriment to run the two at the same time.

I've really liked it thus far.

I really like how the story has played out since the national guard has been a part of the storyline. Now that they're pulling out it will be every man for himself and we will really be able to see how everything went to complete sht.

So far milf wife has the killer instinct needed to survive that world. Travis seemingly does not. But Rick Grimes in season 1 was a lot similar to Travis, so who knows how his character may play out. Victor Strand looks like an interesting new character too. Sucks this is only 6 episodes. I just wonder how many seasons they can stretch out until their world is the same as it is now in the original walking dead series.

For the people complaining about a lack of walkers....Tonight more than made up for it.

Great season finale and I can't wait for season 2.

I don't get why anyone would complain over the lack of biters. It's the beginning of the apocalypse, so obviously there isn't going to be a lot of them right now. I think they jumped ahead too far with that many already. I mean, really, that many people have died already?

That being said, this entire season I was pretty much just going through the motions, since we know more than the characters do, and it started so slow. However, this finale was incredibly well done, really the first episode that makes me want more episodes. Can't wait to see where they go with it. I'm really intrigued with Strand.

That's the character I'm really interested in learning more about. Dude was way too cool and way too smooth...why was he incarcerated by the military? What did he do before society went down the tubes? Is he too good to be true?

                        That was an amazing episode.

I'm really interested in learning more about Strand. I think he was a defense contractor working on bio warfare. I just get that vibe.

The last two episodes have been great, like losing track of time until commercial breaks and remembering you're watching a show style.

The amount of walkers really escalated quickly, I'm wondering where all the stadium walkers came from, was that just a local group or were they brought in from all over the state? Strand is incredible, the guy has a freaking cruise ship parked in the ocean ready and waiting? wow lol

One part I didn't like was the captive army guy staying around in the parking area after released just to shoot Ofelia in the arm? Why bother with that sequence? Are they leaving him for dead now like Merle?

Also, the guy's name is STRAND? Hello! Something is messing with me, he's locked up and has some sort of understanding with the army dude calling the shots, not just trading jewelry but also he was Strands ride out? Then we find out the guy has a beautiful home, a yacht, and a unique look about embracing the madness... damnit they've suckered me in so hard for season 2 and probably won't even address this stuff til season 3

I would think her wound would have to become an issue next season? Otherwise, yea, seemed kind of pointless. I assumed after the shot she was dead, and then they showed up at the house and there she is.
