First you don't want nude....then you want more nude.... You're a complicated cat when it comes to your android soft porn

Seriously, though, I think that portrayal of nude is to convince the viewing audience to see the androids as things, for now. As with everything, we'll see how it plays out, including the programmer doing her experimentation (maybe she missed out her sophomore year in college?)

I think it's just showing how seductive the androids can be. And the programmer was probably interested in seeing how life like they are.

What I find interesting about scenes like that is, there's no indication this is the programmers first day so why try now? It's a silly plot hole I won't complain about. It made the point.

        Very good series so far.

I loved the original film as a kid, I remember being terrified by Yul's character.

It was one of the most influential films I'd seen as a kid and I had never forgotten it.

I hate adding the spoiler tag stuff thru tapatalk on my phone so I'll just leave it at 'I love the series early on so far'.

We'll see where they take it, but at this point I kinda feel I already know.

Never seen the film, has this diverged pretty significantly from it already at this point?

Yea, the big difference right off the bat are the differences between Yul's character & Harris'.

The only parallel being their clothing. Well, I guess the early behavior is similar but done in a way where they switched it up a bit on us.

But I don't want to ruin anything for anyone with my thoughts, observations, comparisons etc.

My son and his girlfriend watched episode two with me and I explained to them about the film I saw when I was young. Now they want to watch it, very cool.

Again, good start to this series. I'm in.

The show is awesome. I'm not sure how it can go multiple seasons though. It seems to be moving pretty fast. They did a good job of explaining the Androids. Eventually it would seem that one of the Androids will flip the switch so the bullets work on everybody or they can harm someone.

As Evil as the man in black is, I'm surprised that 50% + of the guests don't act exactly like him, well because they can. Must be a fun cleanup each night to get the park ready for the next day.

That new guest that just arrived looks like he wants to wreak some havoc too. Just have to wonder how far his Dudley Do Right sidekick let's him take it.

                In Jonathan Nolan I trust.

Reading that the production break they took early this year was to make sure they knew how things were going to go from season one through five makes me confident they have a solid long term plan.

I think the hosts taking over things is just the start of this series and it's going to happen sooner than we might expect.

Where did they say it is going to be 5 seasons.
I thought I read that it was just going to be one ten episode season??

Perfectly fine with this being one season. I called for a remake movie a long while back, so if this turns into essentially a 10 hour movie ..... well then, yippie-kiiii-yaaaaa!

I have never seen it mentioned as one season outside of fans speculating.

Everything from HBO says it's a long term project they hope replaces Game of Thrones.

I think the show is commentating on how we, as humans sometimes do and sometimes don't leave our humanity at the door of games like GTA and RDR. I think it is weird that anyone fantasizes about being a homicidal rapist.

I identify with the white hat character much more than than his friend.

I don't think it's so much about identifying as being a homicidal rapist or criminal in general so much about just being able to do whatever you like without having any societal consequences. It's a pretty fairly common human fantasy to think of a life without any rules or societal limits.
