I think it's naive to assume Eastman was the only person that could rehabilitate him. Any psychotherapist likely would have tried, and probably could have succeeded.

I love that they brought up PTSD in this episode. It's something I've thought about throughout the whole show and how it would play out in a post-apocalyptic world.

Boltman dont tell me to suspend my disbelief and that this show isnt for me. Im still here watching every episode reading every comic issue enjoying(it may be hard to believe I know) the show, stories, the lore. Im sorry that when I post in this thread its not always about sunshine and daisies. And youve seen me be critical of GoT and Ive been critical of Leftovers. Thats who I am. I dont just absorb everything they feed me because "Im just along for the ride". If It bothers you so much, I can only advise you mute my posts. Thats all I can say to you man because this isnt the first time you've felt compelled to call me out about something this on this website. So your next move is plain as day.

And Jr, that is wishful thinking at best. but Im gonna end it there. I dont want to ruin more people's suspension of disbelief.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)

I enjoyed the episode, the look into Morgan's time before finding Rick again, and Eastman was a great character, but his death was pretty lame. I mean, of all the ways to handle the situation, a guy who could disarm a crazy man with an automatic weapon gets bit like that?

Still enjoyed the episode, but that was the first thing I thought when he got bit. A swift cane to the face to "redirect" the walker, as he seems to be so good at, and it's all over with, no problem.

Idk, maybe it's foreshadowing as to how this philosophy will end for Morgan.

Nothing wrong with criticizing the show either, I'm pretty sure the writers are well aware of how controversial some of their decisions will be to fans. We're in here discussing it, that's what they want.

I really enjoyed this episode. The ending this week has me more anxious than last week's.

Why is that wishful thinking? What do you see in Eastman that makes him unique from other psychologists?

It was an enjoyable episode but seriously.. they could have handled the Eastman thing 100 times better. It simply felt cheap and rushed .. IMO.

It was their own doing. They set this guy up to be a mentor/guru of sorts then they then decide to give him a nube to the world moment..??
That's my only beef with the episode..

Great episode, but I think why people are disappointed in it is because it was so badly placed. This should've been earlier in the season... Not after one of the most suspseful episodes

I knew this episode was gonna be next knowing what TWD likes to do after a big event. I love having this character on the show, most might not agree with his philosophy but he has a code and will struggle through it for the next couple seasons. He'll be around for awhile.

I know everyone is wondering whats going on with Glenn and Rick, but i'm still waiting to see if the lady in the armory is gonna shoot someone in the face.

So sad when Tabitha died...so sad...

The way Eastman died was lame...but it's quite the consistent method in this show. I don't watch it for the "realism". I just love the character development.

Even though I can tolerate a lame death or unrealistic survival...the Glenn thing is just over the top ridiculous if he's alive.

What's been your "favorite" (or most memorable) death so far? For me, it's still Dale. Just a brutal death. And I agree about Eastman. Didn't make sense. Remember in the season premier when Rick had the Alexandria residents try and take on a few walkers by themselves when they were building the walls to redirect the walkers? When he saw they couldn't do it, Rick's team jumped in and took care of them in no time. But Eastman couldn't handle a single, slow moving walker? Come on.

And I also agree about Glenn. Absolutely no way he should get out of that. He should have been torn apart in no time from what we've seen by these packs of walkers.

Share pretty the same sentiment as the rest. I really enjoyed the episode and was always curious to know what happened to Morgan during that time apart. Placement could have been better and the death of Eastman was super lame but overall a damn good episode. I like how they connected it to the present time as well.

So far my favorite death has been Noah, followed by Dale.

They had mentioned that the more important character, the more gruesome the death, so we will see if that holds true moving forward.
