A wonderful opening weekend for the film. Did $100+ mil domestically & $200+ mil worldwide by the end of sunday. https://www.forbes.com/sites/markhug.../#417c2eb31641

Awesome movie. Talking went on a little long at times but that's a minor complaint from me. Hopefully the rest of the DC movies start reaching this (& TDK) bar.

I have a question about a plot point that I've been thinking about since leaving the theater.

Was really just a misdirection, I was pretty happy I had forgotten who had been cast as that character.

I thought it was very good, but not quite great. Best of the DC movies, but a bit short of the better Marvel ones (and I'm a DC guy). Gal was terrific, I thought she nailed both WW's strength and naivety. The fight scenes were great.

I haven't read the WW Rebirth books yet, but I appreciated some of the callbacks (like the ice cream) to the New 52.

Anything with Wonder Woman/Gadot is a solid A. It's just a lot of things outside of her that hurt the movie in my opinion.

                      Overall I'd give this movie a C+
This is where I'm at with WW after viewing it. Gadot and Pine were great, though.

Saw the movie and absolutely loved it. Gal was the perfect Wonder Woman. Don't want to spoil anything but that No Man's Land scene was definitely one of my favorites.
I think as long as you go into a DC movie remembering that it is DC and not Marvel, it'll be liked. The only complaints I've heard are when people compare this to a Marvel movie. But hey, everyone has their own taste.

That's the thing, to me, it's easily the most "Marvel" movie that DC has ever made. By far the most lighthearted and humorous of the bunch.

Totally agree. I just hope DC doesn't go down that "generic" tone Marvel has had for a while now, even if it is successful. While I generally enjoy the Marvel films, I can't help but notice how generic most of them are upon repeat viewings.

Hey, what's wrong with having a villain that has no clear purpose or motivation being beaten with a bunch of snarky remarks?
