I understand the (blank scene) being taken out at the end. It was a big wtf in the books but it did make sense of why she did it, just guarenteed todays generation would not be able to handle that. I mean look at "Mother"

The good news is we don't have to wait 27 years for Chapter 2.

Release date announced as September 6, 2019.

The struggle to wait that long will be real. Haha. I'm so pumped for the next movie.

All I know is Amy Adams better play Beverly. I might accept Elizabeth Olson.

Jessica Chastain due to her past with the director has to be the front runner, id imagine.

There's definitely a lot of buzz surrounding her and she'll most likely get it, I was just naming actresses that look like Sophia Lillis grown up.

Oh, Amy Adams would be perfect, too. Just assume Chastain (who’s basically AA-light to me, both good with Adams being just a slightly better actor) will get the first shot to say yes or no due to their history.

Saw this last night and loved it. Great casting and thought it was well done.

I could have done without the woman who brought her infant and two young kids, as well and the other lady who brought a 2 year old. That's a rant for a different thread however.

Looking forward to the second one for sure.

We saw it last night. Apart from Ritchie having too many lines I thought it was well done. The pacing, while quick, was even. The cast was wonderful and connected well with each other. Some of the CGI was spotty, but overall it was a good film and something to look forward to.

I have the brick of a book sitting on my dining table. Hopefully I can dive into it soon.

Amy Adams would be perfect to play OJ Simpson.

Just watched this movie and it was terrible. They did no job on character development, the actors were terrible and if you aren’t going to follow the book at all at least make the movie decent.
