    Re: Survivor: Triple H

lol, I guess I spoke too soon. Though in general, so many horrible idol management moments this season.

Multiple failed idol plays, a 1 time idol misplayed(not to mention Chrissy has never even bothered using it as a fake idol!), and an idol given and literally tossed away! One play finally worked out but still, people dropping the ball so often.

Lauren was in a good position at this point. F7, an idol, an extra vote. Play the idol here, make it to F6. At F6, you have 2 of the 7 votes, so you just need 2 people to join you to get majority. That'd take her to the F5 where it's anyones game at that point.

Playing idol at this tribal would've meant re-vote and Chrissy goes home.

Did she have the 2nd idol piece with her? I would have been reaching into that fire for the shell.

Like I said last week, while this season in general hasn't stood out in a big way, blindsides in Survivor are always so much fun. And finale next week!

The first half of this season was kind of meh but since the merge pretty much very tribal has been pretty good. I don't really dislike or like anyone left. If I'm going by who I actually like (mainly personality-wise) I hope that Ryan wins but if I'm going by game play I have to go with Ben. Either way I hope that we see some more fireworks in the finale.

At this point, I don't even know who'd be the fave to win outside of Ben(and even in Bens case, everyone wants him out and is against him, would they use that as a reason to not vote him in the end). That's both a good and bad thing in Survivor heading into a finale(not having clear cut faves)

                      Season finale tomorrow!

I know what the name for next season is already, but I don't know what exactly that means(and who knows if we'll even find out in the finale the actual details of the theme). If Celebrity BB works out this February, then maybe that'd encourage CBS to do a Celebrity Survivor season. I hope so, I wanna see:

Nice finale. Glad Ben won. He was best player of the season. After that 2nd Chrissy vote I thought maybe she won. That F4 twist is bittersweet. I like the twist, it makes final immunity so much more important and F4 tribal less boring, but it also means no F2 in their plans. But it gives final immunity holder back the big power and being the sole person making big decision.

F3 wise, I think this is one of, if not only F3 where everyone got votes? Or at very least, the F3 where everyone got votes and there was no 2nd place tie.

As for ghost Island, it's really interesting concept, I hope it goes as cool as it sounds. From the worst named season to one of best. Bringing back moments from the past to let new group relive! Voted out with 2 idols, giving up immunity, the "bleeping stick" !

I don't understand the point of ghost island if you're bringing in an entirely new cast, or did I misunderstand? It sounded like they were bringing back all the people who screwed themselves over with the worst moves, but if it's a new cast I don't get it.

Regarding Ben, I don't have a problem with him winning, his resume was solid, I do have an issue with him being in the final 3 in the first place. He lost! Why did they give him another chance with the fire making challenge? It's like they knew he'd be voted out easily so they concocted a new "twist" to give him another chance. That's a little shady imo. I would've gone with Chrissy. The two of them had the best resumes and it could've gone either way, but Ben shouldn't have been there.

It's all new cast. And for first time in 17 seasons, a new cast isn't divided up based on a theme.

The point is to give new cast a chance to rewrite history in a way. The whole "those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it". People watching these moments unfold from their couch, probably being like "what a stupid person. I would never do that.", now get their shot.

So the show is going to recreate all the mistakes previous players made and the new cast gets to correct the mistakes? I like the idea of not having tribes, but it just feels like ghost glitter reminding people not to screw up, as opposed to anything actually significant. After tonight, I'm not sure screwing up means anything anyway

They still have tribes (though no tribes is a twist I've been hoping they do one year. Make it individual from day 1), but tribes won't be forced, like heroes tribe, or brains tribe, or men's tribe and so on.

From sounds of it, they will have something similar to past mistakes. Maybe they give someone two idols and see if they get voted out with any or use it properly. So many ways they could go with this. We probably won't find out much new info till February.
