Re: Official E3 Discussion Thread
The Xbox 360 GPU + EDRAM has a significant advantage over the G70 in the PS3. The PS3 CPU has more raw GFLOP performance over the Xbox 360 CPU.
Exactly what I ecpected this is like an Xbox vs Gamecube comparison hardware wise, with the PS3 being the Xbox and the Xbox 360 being the Gamcube of this generation.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

You can't look at it like that. Gamecube had to many childrens games. That why I feel people didn't buy it. Re: Official E3 Discussion Thread
The gamecube is actually pretty powerful but it's not as powerful as the xbox, there's more to it but that's the basic idea.Originally posted by bergie56Could you explain that a little bit more. If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Official E3 Discussion Thread
The Xbox and Gamecube are very close in terms of power, meaning from what it looks like the PS3 and Xbox 360 will be very close. With the PS3 being the Xbox of this generation and the Xbox 360 being the Gamecube, as far as hardware goes.Originally posted by bergie56Could you explain that a little bit more. Hmm lets do that math.................
115 X 2 = 230
Cell @ 3.2Ghz = 218
230>218
BTW Jake, I'm just bustin' yer' ba11s bro, I knew the jist of what you were saying.
