Is it me or is G4TV's coverage called The "We love anything Sony" show?

I think the controller could be make or horse manure and they would blow a wad talking about it.
Also little things they say like "When we get back we'll have more PS3 info and XBOX 360 hype"
Sony's is info and MS is hype????
I don't know, maybe it's just me.

On a side note: Man I hope Sony's games are as good as some of the vidseos show!!!

I looked it up myself- Comcast. But Comcast has pretty close ties with Microsoft. So that's out. (Drat.) All that leaves are the biases of the reporters and the distinct possibility that Sony really is having a more impressive showing.

Or that they are idiots. The one guy has a level head on the whole thing. It's Sessler and mostly Morgan Webb that are getting all giddy about Tech Demos. The one guy keeps telling them, "THESE AREN'T REAL". But they just wanna talk about what's possible. They don't want to remember that Sony did this same thing with the PS2.

The one legitimate problem that all of these guys have, I agree with. So far MS seems to be blathering about market share this, and how the whole family/world will plug in their 360 and join hands. I don't like this. They said the same crap about PS2 before it launched, I had the Newsweek about it. This is a big turnoff to the 'hardcore'. We want good games not a super sonic toaster. That's what was cool about the Xbox, it was for the hardcore. Now it may be changing. It's a gamble that might be feast or famine for MS.

I don't disagree. I'm hoping that to some extent Microsoft is taking this route because they don't feel like the games are ready to show yet. And I'm willing to go with them when it comes to developing online elements- MS has done such a good job with XBL that I'm curious to see what ideas they have about building on that. But I really don't need to customize the cover of my new Xbox 360 (although I'm sure there are plenty of people who will want to...just no one I know). What it comes down to is that these systems are impressive or unimpressive based on the games. It's really that simple. I'll stick by my assertion that the games are going to be pretty similar on both the PS3 and the Xbox 360, and so I'm no more impressed by Sony parading around CGI dressed up as gameplay than I am by mumbo-jumbo from Microsoft. It's pretty clear this E3 is going to be long on hype and short on substance as far as the next-gen stuff goes, and really the more interesting titles should all be Xbox/PS2 games.

to the person who said all PS3 games were just movies, you should check out Fight Night trailer that is all real time as well as the Unreal 3 demo... I would say they are very accurate depictions of what the system can and will deliver.

I think I might have to pick up a Gamecube after creaming my pants over the Zelda trailer I just saw

Only thing I didn't like is the wolf aspect, hopefully it turns out alright, or that playing as the wolf is more of an option.

so that wolf part was actually from Zelda? I only caught the end of the trailer on G4 and I was like that must be two different games...

Yeah it's from Zelda, they didn't really show/elaborate on how it would me implemented into the gameplay. Just showed a clip of him turning into a wolf.

Question for anyone familiar with Quake... one why is all the blood blue, and two why isn't this game even looking up to the standards set by Chronicles of Riddick, I would hope that all XBOX 360 games would look better than any XBOX game but this one kinda makes me doubt that.

The Fight Night trailer was ok, I really didn't think it was mind blowing. THough. I saw the Unreal Demo, and even the G4 did say it wasn't running on any PS3 hardware. So there is really no point to a lot of these trailers. THese are visual targets running on PC's for the most part.

Sean was right. Let's see the stuff that is atually running on consoles, and so far that seems to be limited to current gen stuff.

yes Unreal was, it was running real time, they moved around the scene, I know that was real time, they wouldn't show it in real time and move it around if it wasn't running on the PS3. As for Fight Night I would say the graphics are better than any cut scene found on this gen consoles, and it was all real time gameplay.
