Why do you guys care what the console looks likes? Or the controller for that matter as long as the buttons are accessible, and that applies for both systems. Its still too early to determine which one is better until the full press conference.

Impressed by the video clips on gamespot.com. This is going to be insane playing these types of games.

I don't usually care but that ps3 controller is just plain ugly.

Sony's conference was great and classy. They usually throw outlandish things out their, but not this time. I thought it was better than the Microsoft one, but maybe that's because the video quality was better. Hopefully somebody can get the Microsoft one up. The videos were amazing, some better than the Xbox 360's, except for Gears of War, which is still the best looking game in my opinion. That demonstration with UE3 was awesome, and it wasn't even using a GPU, atleast that's what they said.

Definitely will be getting a PS3. I was planning on it anyways.

That image is all wrong. IGN has roughly the sizes of the consoles.

PS3 13.5" x 3.25"

Xbox 360 10.25" x 2.5"

The PS3 is bigger than the original Xbox.

looks like I need to save some money for a good HDTV with HDMI inputs to get the full effect of the PS3 system....playing games at 1080p will be insane.

IT looks like the top of the console should say 'Spiderman 3' same font.

LIke the 360 I've seen some games that impressed, and others that look like current gen.

To me though it still looks like Xbox owns the lighting department, and I agreee with Flawless. G.O.W. is the most impressive thing I've seen on either platform. GR3 looks good too.

I was impressed by the number of cars in GT4 though. That's a very good sign.

It's just plain ugly. Usually sony makes some nice looking stuff but that thing looks terrible.

I agree 100% . Sony always makes nice looking products .But this looks like my cable box.

I'm surprised at the number of people who think the new console is ugly, I really like it (especially the black version).

Of course, I thought the original Xbox was ugly, so what do I know?
