I don't usually care but that ps3 controller is just plain ugly.

What is so bad about the controller? All they did was elongate the handles to give larger handed gamers a better grip (I've had friends that complained about the small Dual Shock handles). They didn't screw up the button configuration at all; they just made it bigger. Granted, it looks like a boomerang, but it's not ugly.

I agree. It looks like it will be more comfortable to hold, for me at least.

They could've made a controller for people with bigger hands and not make it like that. The xbox controller was perfect for me and I have big hands, the elongated handles just make it look weird.

Looking weird, being ugly, and complete reconfiguration are all completely different. First people ask why they couldn't just re-configure the dual shock controller when all they did was elongate the handles. Then you say it's ugly and then turn around and say it looks weird. Seems like some people just look for things to complain about.

I actually think the analog sticks will be easier to reach. Because it is curved your thumbs will point inward slightly, making them closer to the analog sticks. Not sure about the shoulder buttons as I can't really tell from the pictures.

Just out of curiousity, is most everyone posting actively in this thread buying PS3 at the launch? There's been talk of a GTA game to coincide with the launch and the list of titles like Metal Gear 4 alone is enough for me to have this thing reserved. Personally, I can't wait till this time next year!
