Right, the cutscene with the 3 prisoners will show up so you need to make it across the couryard/park to the other side where there are a set of doors. This will allow you to get to the other side of the mall where you start heading towards the security office. Be very careful with those 3 prisoners, they will shoot at you and run you down, those damn c*cksuckers. They have me so mad, I died so many times that I gave up on them last night.

Have you also turned on the navigation arrow on the top of the screen?

Just an FYI, you can kill them to gain an achivement.....but they will respawn the next time you go through and it gets really annoying.

Yes I did that's how I got the cutscene. Is there a way to get the prisoners?

Why, are the prisoners not appearing?

i read on gamefaqs that if you blow up the prisoner's vehicle after killing them (with propane) then they don't respawn

My bad I meant to say "get past the prisoners".

This helps give the survivors a weapon when your leading them back to the safe zone.

I'm pleasantly surprised...this game is alot better than I thought. Best cutscenes ever? I'm really liking the photo aspect, also. I've died/restarted 3 times now, but I don't mind...it gives me opportunities for better, more dramatic pics during certain scripted events. I like it. Still, with Madden ans Saints Row coming, I'd call this one a rental. The save system really is crap.

I'm really enjoying this, and I think playing multiple times will be needed...the time based aspect adds some drama, and there's no way you can do everything

Its impossible, I havent gotten lvl 3 speed yet and im not coming anywhere close to finishing all the quests. And people are still dying left and right even though I have saved over 20 so far.

                        good job...

I can't seem to get passed the guy in the hardware store. I have only tried three times though...

one thing about the save system is that it makes you plan ahead...this makes the game more stratigic at times (at other times it is just a pain in the ***)

I couldn't get there either...i end up starting towards one side task and find other ones on the way...it's pretty cool, kinda like "well, i really gotta save that kid"...

another thing i realized, I love that it's hard...sometimes I die, depending on a battle, it's not too easy...it'd get really tedius if the game was a cakewalk and you were just going through the motions

it cant be 7 hours, im already on my 5th and im up to adam the clown. and about the save system, it could be annoying at times but look at it this way, EACH bigger area of the mall has a rest room where you can save. and another thing, the graphics are insane. more than i expected

I read in one of the reviews that the game is 12-15 hours long, not sure if this includes side missions.
