I really enjoy playing as Jill (BSAA) in Mercenaries mode. The double knee drop and sweet chin music are very nice attacks.

Reapers are one of the easiest things to kill if you know where to shoot.

Blow thier heads off, then they will run arround blind, there are also things on thier back that you can shoot before its chest opens.

Granted it's not a surpise part of the game but laying out a strategy etc... should be in spoiler tags IMO. Some people can't go 24/7 on games and finish in a day.. :P

I beat the game today, my final thoughts:

I have to say, the plot in this game mostly sucks and isn't up to snuff with the rest of the series. There are no twists of any kind, and unless you've never played a Resident Evil game, you knew that was Jill underneath the hood the moment you saw her. Wesker has really run his course as a villain. He no longer ceases to be menacing, instead he's just predictable and boring. I hope he is dead and gone for good because the final battles wasn't much of a climax. Which is another thing, the boss battles, for the most part, were not as good here as they were in previous games. A lot of the bosses had a fairly simple strategy, making some of the battles long and tedious. And at first being lukewarm on her, I came to despise Sheva by the end of the game. Her management of health items is atrocious, and she constantly found a way to get herself in danger or killed for me late in the game. I wanted to brain her during the boss fight with Wesker where you're trying to hit with a rocket launcher, then blow the rocket up in his hands. I first took the rocket launcher and shot him, but she just stood there and stared at him while he held the thing. So I gave her the rocket launcher figuring I'd just let her shoot it, then I'd blow up the rocket. The second she got a rocket in the thing she fired at him, of course, he dodged it. So I ended up just doing it all myself. She was merely an annoyance in the following fight. While I found Wesker's attacks easy to dodge, she apparently did not.

At any rate, the game is still fun to blast through. It's strictly a linear action title at this point, and I'm mostly ok with that. I wouldn't want the next Resident Evil to be like this though, and I hope they give the series an overhaul. If they want to go more action, its time to ditch the clunky aiming mechanic. That works fine with zombies and close corridors but becomes cumbersome in a wide open gun fight. It will likely be awhile before the next one drops, which is somewhat of a shame given how we used to get a new Resident Evil every year.

Me and my friends can't stop making fun at Chris's face. I feel like Capcom did a poor job modeling it or something. He seems special ed at times.

Also, the ending only contributes to our steroid jokes.

I've made a run through on Veteran with my friends when I first got it, than yesterday I ran through the whole game again on Normal with another friend. Spent countless hours working on getting A ranks in Mercenaries. Ran through other levels over again for S Ranks and BSAA emblems. Been up to about four in the morning twice, yet I sit here tempted by the 360 power button....

I've made a run through on Veteran with my friends when I first got it, than yesterday I ran through the whole game again on Normal with another friend. Spent countless hours working on getting A ranks in Mercenaries. Ran through other levels over again for S Ranks and BSAA emblems. Been up to about four in the morning twice, yet I sit here tempted by the 360 power button....

This game is addicting. I beat it on Amateur earlier in the week. Then I spent hours replaying 4-1 to collect treasures and $$$$ to upgrade my weapons. Then last night started on Normal............then after that going to hit up Veteran.

Easiest way to get money is to do 5-3 level or the rotton egg glitch (I will Spoiler Tag this)

5-3 level:

either do the rotton egg glitch and get 90k in one run or just play through 5-3. Kill the 3 spider things in the beginning and pick up thier jewels, then go a little farther and kill the fat man, the rocket people drop treasure, get the necklace, kill all the lickers since they drop treasure and then get to the end where you shoot the diamond off the wall. After that go where you kill Wesker and save and quit. Sell all your treasure and rinse and repeat.

Egg Glitch:

For the Rotton egg glitch you must have 2 people playing. One person have the rotton egg and the other have nothing. The person that has the rotton eggs will give them to the person who doesn't. The person who recieves them will then quit out and save while the person who gives them will quit out and not save. When you get back into a game together you will both have the rotyton eggs. Just keep doing it until both you and your friend have 45 Rotton eggs. Sell the 45 rotton eggs and there is 90k right off the bat. Rinse and repeat. (I suggest that you keep 45 in your big inventory so when you do the Rotton egg glitch again you have 45 to double to 90 instead of worrying about getting to 45 again)
